He's just plain old shit

didn't pratley contribute to getting swansea up

now, he's at a team flirting with relegation and 'shit'

they all start afresh for me, now that the clueless one has gone

It has to be a clean slate for everyone surely, we saw a completely different player in elmander after a change in management, lets hope we finally start to see what those Swansea fans were saying about how good pratley was when we went down there.

The couple of occasions I saw Pratley playing for Swansea in their promotion year he looked a completely different player than the one we've seen in a Bolton shirt.

As said above, it has to be a clean slate for everybody. No picking players for sentimental reasons either.

At Swansea. What position did pratley play?

In the middle alongside brittan and Allan?

That's where I'm at too

Though I've been agreeing with you too much recently

It's rather worrying

Yep, clean slate for the lot of em.

They are all shite until they prove otherwise.

And explains how the moment he left, we ceased shipping goals even against much lesser teams.

Oh wait...

have you ever considered the concept of oher peoples opinions?

he was overpaid shite with a high opinion of himself is MYopinion.

lets compare him to Holden. Popular opinion is we fell apart when Holden got injured.

Is NRC at the same level as Holden? cos he sure as fuck didn`t help us stay up did he?

edit: would also say that the fact NOBODY wanted to sign him is a good indicator that us plantpots have a case. can you offer anything other than opinion to support the case of how good he was? like results for example? Oh wait....

Plenty of opinion, you are making things up.

Let's be honest, nobody knows if other clubs did or didn't try to sign him.

I would hazard a guess (and it is a guess) that several clubs would have liked to sign him, but none of them were willing to stump up the kind of cash that he wanted.......I reckon the reaosn he's only just got a club is possibly more down to his own personal greed or desire for money rather than his footballing ability of which he does have some. He's not the worst player we've ever had and he's certaibnly not the best. I would certainly have him back here in the squad at the minute though

He was just another piece of the jigsaw that got us relegated. And then the cheeky twat bailed out. He's a cunt.

He got about the pitch and put a foot in on occasions, that's as much credit as I can give him.

He also put in some very poor performances, and when you are playing that position you need consistency, something I am hoping Spearing will supply.

As regards Player of the Year, I don't think a relegated club should be giving that award out.

I'm also willing to give any of our players a fresh start, I currently have a downer on Andrews, Mills and Mears but more than willing to be won over.

Regarding Mears it will be interesting to see how he would play if he didn't have to play that whole flank on his own. I'm still undecided on him.

i`m not seeing anything here that says outstanding. .

My point was he wasn`t our worst and wasn`t our best. I didn`t rate him, he was earning a lot of money, he thought he was better than he was and we didn`t/don`t need him. Thats pretty factual and not worthy of petty insults

Opta stats for 2010/11. The only facts here are he didn`t stand out at all but then again I`m sure plenty will say it was all the fault of the shite around him but Holden seemed to manage to play with all the rest of the shite just fine. Disclaimer: -No stats for Mark Davies and some stats are Championship but theres nowt else to use

edit:- bollocks! can`t paste a table and can`t upload documents!

Last season stats as an example

NRC 3 goals, 0 assists, 6 shots on target, 51 fouls committed, 31 fouls suffered

Andrews 11 goals 1 assist 25 shots on target 41 fouls committed 26 fouls suffered

I'd be surprised if any thought he was "outstanding".

IMO he was merely the best of a bad bunch.

NRC worked hard some games..but didn't have the quality. Nothing against him - Wasn't too bothered when he left. Not good enough for premier league hence gone to Ipswich.

He will score against us though.

Know a Burnley fan who rates their replacement, Kieran Trippier much higher.

This doesn't surprise me.

We've never been blessed in the full back area though.

So this Kieran Trippier's wearing a strip with Purple Arms this season?

sorry, you'll have to explain that one.

It's a piss poor pun, incorporating 'Purple Aums' (arms) which were a 'brand' of L.S.D. 'tab'...Not really one for anyone, even the druggies - even I was really half-hearted and morose while I was writing it, so I don't know why I bothered really.
