i'd say they start cheap and go up and up untio they hit a point where they think they might not fill the plane and they'll creep down.

Im guessing its the same as most airlines. Goes up the closer to the date and then the last seat is cheap as chips.

Just get em booked now you tight fucker. ;)

thought as much, wasnt sure as Ryanair, easyjet etc are laws to themselves....

Gonzerllo, more beer money :D

Use a different computer, remember they log your search and increase the price every time you check.

Is that true or are you typing this with tin foil round your head so the aliens can't read your mind?

Spider's right - tracking cookies tell the site the IP of the visitor and an algorithim does the rest. Clear your internet history to remedy this. If you think it's bollocks - try it next time your searching for a flight. Same reason pop-up ads these days seem tailored to your 'interests', tracking cookies/spyware etc. feeding information back. It's always been a two-way street - people seem less arsed about it these days. An I.T. bod could probably explain it better.

Now then, where's my tinfoil codpiece...

Too right. Criteo seem to be involved in a lot of this stuff. You visit a website to look for a product and then ads for it appear on every other website you visit.

I wonder if its counter productive. By the time I've seen the same thing 20 times I'm sick of the sight of it.

Ryanair are only shit if you are a idiot btw that set out their rules very clearly

it works, works well in most cases

people do get fúcked off, but that's all part of brand awareness and all that

It's worked with 'Compare the Market', their presence coupled with the fact they portray men a dickless simpletons that can be bribed with a plush toy, means they get my custom...

In fact, this belongs on the 'f*ckin' problem' thread...

This revolution in advertising is bollocks. I buy something online and am then bombarded with advert offering me the very thing I have just bought. Usually for more money than I actually paid for it.

Ive been told these sort of airlines sell their seats in blocks, lets say the first 20 seats at £20 the next 20 at £40 and so on,if thats the case the sooner you buy the better.

Its very simplified, but basically its how all scheduled airlines sell tickets

5_6 weeks prior departure is always the best time.

What I cannot understand is Rail prices V Air fare. Manchester to Brussles Eurostar is £140 return whilst a Ryan Air fare is £67 return.

A beer trip to the beer capital is cheaper by air and 5 hours quicker, bollox to the train.

TBF, Manchester is probably closer to the centre of Brussels, than is the airport Ryanair wil land at.

I believe Ryan Air use Charleroi however it`s spelled, and thats about 30 miles from Brussles centre. The Eurostar stops in Brussles Central. Probably the prices by air are still cheaper but more fannying around once you land.

Ryanair lay on a coach at Charleroi. Your in Brussells within an hour of landing & Bruges within 2 hours. Adds to the journey IMO

Short bus ride to Charleroi station and then the train.

Far quicker and it used to be cheaper than Ryanair's chara.
