Good grief.

One Summer, Scully.

Is it really 30 years since Barry & Terry filled our screens of an evening watching the magic bunnies whilst hiding shotguns.

I watched "One Summer " again recently & though it's dated , it's still watchable....but it's got the world's most annoying high pitched scouse accent in it ...like an extreme Jamie Carragher. I can't tell if he's putting it on or not.

I feel sick.

I remember vividly watching it's launch, Countdown at 4pm was the first programme.

I'm so very very old.

How old is 5? About 10 years something like that?

I bet it's more like 15 years ago, I remember the Spice Girls launched it, so it must be more than 10 years ago I would have thought

Also, didn't Channel 4 used to put a red triangle in the top corner of the screen if the fiilm was a bit mucky?

I also used to love "The Word" back in the day, thinking about it now though, wasn't it just shit?

It was indeed.....just shit. I loved The Tube though.

Anyone remember Mini Pops?

Paedos must've fucking loved that.

Aye, remember it being around 97

Doubt a sixth channel would happen, 5 is bad enough and is only good for the occasional watchable football match and a film we have all seen a million times/

It shows how much times have chnaged, I remember the massive excitement of a 4th channel appearing - we were spoilt for choice, or so it seemed

Now we've all got in excess of 100 channels.......and they're pretty much full of shit

I reckon half of me only watched it to piss the parents off. I had a tele in my room, but why do that when you can annoy the oldies :D

That Bob Mills has the look of a bloke who might be getting a knock on the door shortly

I've never liked him. He just seems to be someone who's had far too much screen time despite posessing seemingly no discernable talent or likeability. Add Paul Ross and Tony Slattery to this list too.

not saying its any more than fcuking cockney bias, like

also, Italian Football when it was new and exciting to us...before we realised it was just a bit defensive and dull

Tony Slattery to this list too.

What ever happened to that whose line is it anyway fuck sponge?

According to wiki it looks like he's been scrabbling around for the last 7 years just doing the odd bit here and there. I hope he's bankrupt.

Prospects, was that C4?

Can't remember what it was called but it was an open ended talk show with celebs sat on couches. Started at 11pm and often ran to 3am.

Max Headroom.
