November 6, 201213 yr Fucking McDonalds, shite, call themselves a 'restaurant' - no knives, no forks, salt and pepper in fucking sachets. Utter dogwank...They can piss off in future, I'm going to sit in the bus shelter with a triangle of butties from Asda.

November 7, 201213 yr I dont mind Scotts, but its a poor do when you can only serve lager and cider. Im ok,because I drink lager, but 3 fellas I drink with all drink bitter, and theres nothing worse than having to drink something you dont want to,especially at £3.10 a pop. They had a busy weekend they said??...Yes thats right we had a home game you knob.
November 7, 201213 yr Never been in Scotts matchday, but go in every Wednesday after playing footy. It's a curious mix of couples, klunge and sweaty blokes in football kits. I like it. Edited November 7, 201213 yr by Alf Hartigan
November 7, 201213 yr Any self respecting pub should sell real ale after last nights debacle I'm looking round for a pub in walking distance where I can drink a proper beer any recommendations?
November 7, 201213 yr Any self respecting pub should sell real ale after last nights debacle I'm looking round for a pub in walking distance where I can drink a proper beer any recommendations? The Brinsop. 6 ales and doesn't get packed
November 7, 201213 yr I must say, in defence of the worst run pub tag, One game last season I went in fairly early one match day and ended up talking to one of the lads behind the bar. They didn't know there was a match on that day and ended up phoning the casual staff to get their arses down asap. Surely a business for whom profitability depends largely on match day trade would have a fixture list in the staff room to let them know they'll likely as not be needing extra staff compared to any other time.
November 7, 201213 yr The Brinsop. 6 ales and doesn't get packed I went in there last season for the Liverpool game, its nice enough, only problem is you have to set off at half 2 to get to the ground.
November 7, 201213 yr I went in there last season for the Liverpool game, its nice enough, only problem is you have to set off at half 2 to get to the ground. A friend of mine owns it. I like to go for meal or a drink but pre match, like you say, it's a bit of a stride for these short legs.

November 7, 201213 yr A friend of mine owns it. I like to go for meal or a drink but pre match, like you say, it's a bit of a stride for these short legs. Plus I need to be offskis if Im driving. I was back home with a pint in my hand at 10:41 last night, and that included two drop offs! Staff love it when Ive been to a night game...4 pints ordered on the bell!
November 7, 201213 yr I tend to park near the roundabout for a quick get away. Much easier this season due to smaller crowds. I had the kettle on in heywood at 10.32 last night.
November 9, 201213 yr Barnstormers. 4 or 5 real ales plus the usual keg stuff. Shut last time I went..has it re-opened?
November 9, 201213 yr Shut last time I went..has it re-opened? Been open all season. Are you not thinking of Bromilow.
