November 10, 201213 yr i'd love to see some of the 70s/80s lads turn out for the return casino lovernotafighter Some great lads in the 70s think a lot of them disappeared in the 80s most of them will be near 60 now unfortunately rum set of fuckers we had back then as a young lad I could only stand in awe on the Lever End. One thing for sure were going to have to stand shoulder to shoulder if Millwall decide to play out. Edited November 10, 201213 yr by Mounts Kipper

November 10, 201213 yr What do Miilwalls black players make of this? Or Millwall's black fans. These abusive hashtag twitter types, are they about 15 years old?
November 11, 201213 yr all through the 70's and 80's we were told how Millwall were gonna come to burnden park and do us, it never happened , soft as shite, I admit during that time as a young man i thought the violence was exciting, but you grow out of it, I would be willing to slide back into my childish behaviour to defend our Marvin (although the wife would kill me :-(( ) Edited November 11, 201213 yr by pansyroadwhite

In one of the football hoolie books, (I know !), the A-Z of football hooliganism, the long chapter about Millwall contains a couple of accounts of the events of that day from a Millwall perspective & they accept that it was one of the worst days that Millwall fans ever had. I also went to Millwall in the era before "away" sections & it was very scary. Definitely not soft as shite.

Definitely not soft as shite. i'm pretty sure the millwall lads on the panaroma docementary mention getting a kicking at burnden in that era, more than likely the same game then. millwall are far from being soft,a true working class club. united's infamous red army wankers didn't fancy it in the 70's at the den, hiding their colours and keeping their big gobs shut, says it all really
November 11, 201213 yr 6 arrested http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/20285161 Remember going to a game at Millwall mid 90s. (Tommo's Mum and Dad were there as per normal). We got shepherded out of the ground by the Met straight into "a dark side of de moon" council estate. Wonder what they make of it all.

Yea your probably right they werent as soft as shite, but they never seemed to bring many to our place and considering the headlines we got in the eighties i thought they may have come up for a dabble ;-)
