Twas indeed, I won the annual comp with my daughter as to who sees it first.

It is the best Crimbo advert by a mile. Remember this version from the late 90's/Early 00's.

 

I dont even bother with Christmas anymore, i still send loads of cards out, and get loads back, but i wont be mithered getting that tree set up again putting all the shite up on it, and clogging my hoover up with bits of glittery tat.

I think folk are slowly coming round to fucking it off until it actually is Christmas these days. However, I know of a couple who are relatively skint who are currently selling off valuable stuff, stuff that will only increase in value - in order to buy plastic tat for their 2 and 4 year old kids - madness!

Me and a couple of mates have said we're going to make the effort and get one each this year.

I think it's ball all to do with making the effort really though, it's just we've seen some really nice ones in John Lewis.
