Just started a new site on ordsall lane this week and can honestly say the people round here are fucked up. I'd rather work in liverpool anyday. Kfc has protective screens for the staff and the maccy d's is full of bagheads from 7am onwards

now now lets not say things we don't mean.

It's fucking horrible. I drive down Langworthy Road and through Ordsall most days, fucking grim. White trash.

I've a mate lives on Chimney Pot Park. They're lovely houses.

I wouldn't live there for a gold clock though.

The Urban Splash upside down houses? They are nice. Its a shame that a few scrotes give it such a bad press. I've worked on s few 'rough' estates and 90% of the people have their homes and gardens like palaces. Very friendly bunch too. But I wouldn't go out there at night.

Tried that way goin home yesterday, just pure scrotes hanging about

Its a shame really as most people is Salford are decent people. Just the percentage of scrotes who bring it down big time.

That's them. She bought it off plan. They're lovely, but as you say, you'd not go out and about at night. I don't like driving though on my way home.

I knew someone who lived on there

nice houses, looked at them when I bought mine, but fuck that, it's in the middle of salford

apparently the neighbours were out one day on their balcony garden doings and two scoates just rocked up, starting drinking their booze, and then twatted the bloke for remonstrating, might even have nicked stuff from the house there and then (can't remember the full story, I may have just assumed the last bit)

anuj bidve probably doesnt rate the area either. the kind of story that makes me ashamed of the UK

I grew up in Salford, it's always been rough but it was a great place to live when we were kids. The trouble with the new breed of scrotes is they have no respect for anyone or anything. I drive through Salford every day and I am embarrassed when I see all the pubs shut because of the protection rackets, and hear stories of these twats robbing their neibours

I used to play for a football team in Salford, a fine set of lads. They were scared of ever setting foot in Farnworth though

I've just Googled up Chimney Pot Park. They look ok, if a bit holiday homey. Like you said though, not an area for a late night stroll.

There are bad eggs everywhere, but certainly North Manchester and Salford are the worst I've worked on. There have been some very nasty threats to my colleagues from gangsters. Stuff is regularly taken from wagons while the drivers are unloading and a boiler was stolen from a kitchen the other day while two plumbers were working in it, right in front of them - the guy just strolled in and picked it up.

didn't robbie fowler buy a street round there for approx £800 a house a few years ago ?

done rafts of work down there and know loads of lads from that end. the older ones are salt of the earth, whereas the scrotes are utter cunts.

whilst i was working on the vicarage on Liverpool St the other week, the vicar told us that associates of a certain local celeb gangster had been round, threatening to take the roof off at night if a donation wasn't paid.

who the fuck does that big fat puff think he is ? it's not even his patch FFS

I work on South Langworthy Road and it's improved massively from what it was like a few years back. Saw the Chimney Pot Park houses being built and they are lovely but no way would I live there.

does anybody remember when the Jennings crew from Leeds came over in the 90's complete with 'sidearms' to try and run all the rackets on site ? That turned out really nasty, with a lot of shit flying about. Once the salford lot stopped their own infighting, the Leeds lot soon fired off.

Oddly enough, they re-emerged a few years with a manchester division and do quite a bit round our way now,esp in Little Hulton

They tried to move in when Paul Massey was in nick, and as you say the young guns we're fighting to be top dog, A lot of other mobs tried to move in as we'll. The fat puff has been poaching on that patch for a while now, he recruited a lot of local kids.

moving there in 2 weeks

the posh side I might add

Monton!!!!

he has recruited a lot of young local naive kids, the locals aren't happy. a few feathers being ruffled i hear. it was great to hear donal micintyre say to him ''do i detect a hint of lavender''............bullying ten bob mincer.

i was on site in the 90's when the Leeds lot turned up threatening site agents etc with guns, not a nice experience when you've got legally got a hammer in your hand and innocently trying to bang a load of slates on

A couple of kids turned up at our office in Salford a couple of years ago, telling me how bad area it was and what might happen without the right "security". They soon fucked off whet I told them I went to school with their boss PM.
