Flight dep Toronto Friday 19.55 arrive Gatwick 8.00

Escort Missus to Euston (she kindly agreed to travel north on her own!) for 10.00

Train Kings Cross 11.03 arrive Peterbourgh 11.52 first class £30. I though fuck it its only a tenner more, and I'll get my monies worth in food and beer.

15.00 Watching the Wanderers. My first match of the season. Priceless!

Or probably

Flight delayed

Missus kicks off about travelling alone and want to come to match

Train to Peterbourgh delayed due to fallen tree no free food or beer in 1st class on saturday.

arrive there 15:23 turnstiles closed finally get in at 15:50

Watch Bolton throw away a 3 goal first half lead to lose 4-3.

Reality.

Of course, it's the new idiot magnet!

If you're changing at Leeds the cheapest would be Todmorden-Newark North Gate return £37.10, Newark-Peterborough return £15.80 total £52.90. Standard class though.

Kev,

The Leeds to Newark and Newark to P'boro legs are on the same train, aren't they?

Yes. The train calls at Newark so you are able to split the ticket.

Can I buy both tickets at Tod?

I dont think there's a ticket office at tod is there?

Can I buy both tickets at Tod?

Easy, buy off red spotted hanky or trainline and collect from Tod via ticket machine on Saturday.

Terraced tickets will be available to Bolton fans on the day of the game

Terraced tickets for Saturday afternoon’s game against Peterborough will be available for Bolton fans to purchase on the day of the game from the away turnstiles.

Fans should be aware that a limited number of terraced tickets will be available on the day and supporters are advised to arrive early to secure their place in the ground.

As of Wednesday evening, approximately 810 away tickets have been sold for Wanderers’ first trip to London Road since April 1994.

Supporters have up until 2pm on Friday to purchase seated tickets online by clicking here, over the phone on 0844 871 2932 or in person at Bolton Central.

Tickets prices are as follows:

Adults - £25

Over-60 - £15

Under-16 - £12

Only terraced tickets are available on the day and away supporters can only pay by cash at Peterborough.

Cash turnstiles = tax fiddle.

Are you coming then you big queer? - I'm sure I owe you a pint and a reacharound

If it's a manned station they'll be able to sell both, if it isn't the conductor can do them.

Still undecided.

Not keen on spending 6 hrs of my day like Billy no mates on a train just to have a back to the 80's day out.

Plus trains & ticket & beer etc will be getting on for £150, when I can go to Haydock and turn a profit.

Did you not see the offer of a reacharound? That's got to be worth the trip on its own

You make a very good and valid point there, even if it did make you sound a little needy.
