I can't think of one player apart from Kevin Davies who gives a shit, and unfortunately his best days are long gone.

When you made that "worst team in 25yrs" claim on the other thread, it got me thinking and this is probably the worst since the team Neal took down in 1987, so you're probably just about right.

PS It's definitely the worst that many of our current fanbase have seen ie all those under 30, like me.

As a list of individuals, this team isn't bad at all.

I missed most the 80's so can't comment on them squads but from the 90's onwards I think that this current squad is the worst I have ever seen as a unit. No drive or passion being the main reason

I haven;t been to that many games, but what I've seen and what I've been told point to a bunch of players happy to pick up their wages and little else. No pride, and that is unforfuckinggivable.

As good as the team that won the first division championship was, that era would have been half the side without the likes of Gerry Taggart and Jamie Pollock.

 

We had a spine in the team who could put their weight about and let the likes of Scott Sellars do their thing.
