I'm not so sure, she clearly has ability, you tend not to fluke winning a major - I'm sure coaches have egos big enough to think they're the ones who can turn her fortunes around. If anybody does, then there is serious money to be made, not just from the tennis, but she's massively marketable off court as well, the fact she speaks fluent Mandarin as well could ensure she becomes a global star (she'd have to win a few games as well of course) -  there are plenty of coaches out there who'd like to be associated with her I'm sure

Take your point, but much of that would depend on her winning things again.

Moreover, the top coaches are going to be expensive: in terms of top earners, she's not going to be any where near those, so is she able to tempt someone away from a top gig, with more security?

Think you're forgetting off court earnings. She's 6th highest earning female sportswoman of 2024.

As I said, massively "marketable" if she starts to win a few games, she'll shoot up that earnings league. Last nights win is a step in the right direction

First set won, tie break second.

Decent players coming through now too.

Novak now lost second set, but plenty of distance in the match.

Our own Draper is 4th seed, and the third seed has already gone, so hopefully he can go a long way.

Arguably our best hope since Murray won it.
