March 19, 201313 yr Bolton teachers going on strike on June 27th ............smiths What a fucking shock. It falls on Wimbledon fortneet. Again. Bone idle cunts.
March 19, 201313 yr Author The thing is with this bunch... They have been in education all of their life...they have no grasp on the real world... Easy pickings for the neanderthals in the unions...
March 19, 201313 yr Whats fair pay for the work do? 12 weeks not teaching etc? Half of them wouldnt be in a job if the pay was a lot higher as it would encourage top end graduates into the profession rather than a lot of bog average ones (i know a lot of people whove fallen into teaching as they hadnt a clue what to do). i'm intrigued as to how you 'fall into' teaching
March 19, 201313 yr What a fucking shock. It falls on Wimbledon fortneet. Again. Bone idle cunts. In fairness, June's the only month they don't get any time off in, so it's to be expected.
March 19, 201313 yr Hadnt a clue what to when leaving uni/couldnt get jobs i'm intrigued as to how you 'fall into' teaching A number of people i know in the profession left uni with no idea what wanted to do/couldnt get jobs and thought "sod it i'll apply to do teacher training" having never mentioned it as something they wanted to do earlier.
March 19, 201313 yr He's reet. Ex-Doris was one. Many do a variety of A levels and then start a degree in something or other before deciding to go down the teacher training route when they find out that the degree in sykology with modern arts isn't worth a fucking wank. I dont think you can actually do a BEd in 'Teaching' but there's plenty of courses linking teacher training with other associated subjects.
March 19, 201313 yr In fairness, June's the only month they don't get any time off in, so it's to be expected. What about November? Hang on, was that when they had their last strike?
March 19, 201313 yr They are having a laugh, surely? This is what they earn Not including Head Teachers its between £21k and £57k depending on experience. The average UK wage last year was £26500. Just fuck off the lot of you. Edited March 19, 201313 yr by Smiffs

March 19, 201313 yr As teachers are always banging on about how they do mountains of vital, unseen work after school has finished, why don't they stage evening walkouts...?
March 19, 201313 yr Can she not get a job at Butlins? you said it was for peasants so she doesn't want to
March 19, 201313 yr you said it was for peasants so she doesn't want to direct me to that bit, tsk! It is though
March 19, 201313 yr They wind me up no end. You know the pay scale when you get a job, if you don't like it re-train. Shelf stackers don't ask for doctors wages. Perhaps the teachers just lack ambition and motivation.
March 19, 201313 yr This one's going out to all my homes in the schools and sixth form colleges, hold ya guns in da air...
March 19, 201313 yr Holding parents and every other fucker to ransom. No better than Al Qaeda in my opinion. I hope they all get thrush
March 19, 201313 yr There was plenty of striking when I was a school all those years ago. I remember then thinking, even with the wagging we got to do, what set of selfish cuntshovellers they were.
March 19, 201313 yr Those who can't, teach Thing is though, by and large they're very fucking good at their job. And it's not a job most of us could do. However, they undermine the respect this brings when they act worse tan the kids they teach. Which makes them nob heads, but proves the unions are the real culprits and should have their backward heads snapped off. Proper cunts.
March 19, 201313 yr Good at teaching, yes Good at applying the subject in the "real" world, not a fucking chance All in my own experience of certain teachers/professors of course Edited March 19, 201313 yr by HomerJay
March 19, 201313 yr Good at teaching, yes Good at applying the subject in the "real" world, not a fucking chance All in my own experience of certain teachers/professors of course Valid point. I spent some time in schools and found the teachers openly admitted they couldn't apply or had the skills to apply what they were teaching into a work environment (which was why I was there). The militant attitudes though must put off those who have worked in the "real" world from turning their skills to teaching.
