I'm another who grew up with David Oates being on Radio Manchester.He was the Man U commentator but I won't hold it against him. My mate has been heavily involved with local rugby league for years and reckons he was a great supporter and promoter of the game at all levels. Was listening that night when Muamba went down, he described it perceptively and sensitively. Heart goes out to his family, no age to lose your husband or your dad
