Of course it's hypothetical, it's very hard to have an opinion on football without thinking about hypothetical situations.

 

What if he'd scored that goal, what if the ref had given a penalty, what if he'd goen 4-5-1 instead of 4-4-2, etc, etc, etc.

 

I just asked if you thought we'd have gone down if Megson had remained in charge, that's all. I have no doubt whatsoever - but that's just my opinion. That, however, doesn't mean I don't lay our relegation last season completely at the feet of Coyle. I blame him entirely ... but it does seem, especially on here, that if you're anti-Megson then you must be a Coyle sympathiser. I'm actually neither.

 

I think they both did a good job when they arrived, but I also think they were doing a poor job when they left. Unfortunately Coyle was given too long. Megson came across as a cunt, Coyle came across as a nice chap.

 

(Is this where I now put "End of" to hammer home my point and make all arguments to the contrary null and void?)

The best was Charlton though, was the only time it was really bouncing like it used to be at Burnden.

bolton's no1 fan, didn't realise you had been to so many games.....

 

 

You must have not been to many games if you only enjoyed 3 games at the Reebok there have been many stella performances in the 15 years that we have been in the Reebok, certainly many more enjoyable games than the 15 years previous at Burnden from 1980-1992 we were woeful, its amazing how the passing of time clouds judgement.

 

As a example I watched the video gonzo put up of the Swindon game.....
