Well, did Whythenshawe this morning and if you're going to do a Parkrun round here then that's the place to do it. Lovely park, flat and fast course. Even some decent totty doing it too. What's not to like?? Got my 2nd fastest time over 5k and highest place in a Parkrun so pretty fookin' happy with that.

Well done matey. Nice day for it too. Manchester 10K for me tomorrow.

Did Pennington flash one today. I was sure i'd been told it was fast and flat. It was neither which was a bit of a pisser. The 2 lads I took with me and assured it was a guaranteed minute faster course thought so too... Maybe try Wythenshaw.

Did Pennington Flash parkrun in February for the 2nd time, I arrived late after waiting for a mate who was coming with me and ran without warming-up. My achilles tendons have been shot since. I've done the Worsley Woods Parkrun three times since but was to eager and ran before I was fully recovered and set myself back. Worsley is mostly flat but has some steepish climbs in the middle.

I hadn't ran at all since early April until the Manchester 10K yesterday and just had to plod slowly round as ankles still not quite right.

How'd you get on mate? I'm not used to sunshine let alone having to run in it.

Just setting off to do the Manchester 10K, nice day for it, but i'm gonna get my arse kicked by maude and the dowter. Pulled a hamstring 8 weeks ago and was out for 5 weeks. See if I can get round under 55.

Thats the way to look at it. Did my first 15 months ago in 34.5 mins. Keep at itand after about 5-6 weeks you will do one and feel great.

I've done Leverhulme Park Run a few times now. Try and catch it when I'm in Bolton for a visit.

It is a tough course. I'm over a minute slower than for my normal on this. 'Cruella de Hill' is the main reason.

Not been doing much running or cycling since I had an accident at work in January. Can't cycle yet but I've started running again. Did Keswick Parkrun a fortnight ago and got my ass handed to me by the Mrs :0/

Will be doing the Bolton one in a fortnight as she wants to do her 100th (!!!) parkrun there. There'll probably be a few from our club down for it.

There's a newish one in Blackburrrn. Not done it myself but apparently the course is faster than Bolton.

I'd guess Bolton would be one of the slower ones in the country! I'm comfortably over a minute faster on most other parkrun I've done. Still enjoy Bolton though.

Don't think Wigan is a quick one either though

Not missed that Bolton hill the last few weeks, hard work in the wind today?

Did a nice trail one near Villa's training ground today, gonna do the new one at Haigh in aa few weeks hopefully

Give us a shout when you're up for Haigh and I'll come and give it a go.

Tough this morning, ice patches and running on sodden grass took their toll. 12 PB's must be a record low, amazed there were any
