Good to see Broner lose. Hypejob twat.

Well worth staying up for that one, i thought Broner would win on points but Maidana boxed really well and gave him the shock of his life. He was close to stopping him before the headbutt incident which Broner milked to his advantage to get some much needed recovery time.

 

Had referee Cole done his job properly the margin would have been even greater, Broner was frequently throwing elbows, forearms and pushing.

Froch on SSN saying he's fighting Chevez jnr next then a re match with groves is on the card afterwards.

 

Didn't realise Cleverly had pulled out of his bout on march 1st due to injury...

Cotto and Martinez will hopefully be facing each other a month after the Froch proposed rematch. Lot's of good fights to look forward to as ever.

Taking a fight nobody cares about to avoid his just desserts; strange behaviour for an international superstar warrior. 

 

At least Chavez has given a rematch for his robbery.

Ballooning about what his fans want is more important than what UK boxing fans want,accusing Groves of being petulant etc when it's himself he needs to look at when banding that word about.

 

The guy has gone massively down in my estimation over the past year.

 

He should have agreed a rematch straight after the last fight and put any doubts to bed in the ring.

I was team Froch for the first fight, but definately team Groves for this one, though Froch is a tough nut I dont think he has much boxing skill and I can see  a very similar fight to last time with Groves holding on for a points win.

After this goes to purse bids, the pot will get big enough he'll be doing fine, and he won't be tied to a rematch and multi-fight matchroom contract.
