Chisora v Fury

Aren't they both a bit shit?

the whole  heavyweight division is a bit shit.

IBO have Fury at 4th in the world, Chisora at 6th.

That shows how poor this division is.

Is Smiffs at number 5?

He could beat both in the same night, with a pint in his hand.

I'd rather watch Fat Frank and Darren go at it in the ESL, than watch Chisora Fury

Fury is unbeaten and a pup in heavyweight terms. Could still be one of the best out there IMO if his career is managed properly and he dedicates himself.

Chisora is OK, tough but limited.

It's a decent matchup, both headcases, so you just don't know what will happen.

What happened to David Pryce??

What happened to David Pryce??

Punched into next week by a Plumber. Now hidding out in German, getting over it.

What happened to David Pryce??

Got KOed by Tony Thompson, twice over (they rematched). Thomson knows what he's doing, he's no mug.

Price freezes under pressure and doesn't take a shot well, but the big problem was that he got fed a diet of no-hopers and then jumped up to a capable, streetwise fighter and wasn't ready. Bad matchmaking basically.

Darren'd leather him

Fury is shit. Hopefully Delboy can do the job he was too overweight to finish off last time out

Funny as fuck that.   That little noise he makes when he jumps off the stage cracks me up, then the way he says "See you's in a bit" like a naughty boy walking out of a classroom. What a tit! Entertaining though....

What a bell-end.

Thing is, he's THAT much of a bell-end he's more amusing than he is annoying.

I see promoter Mickey Duff snuffed it today. In a round about way he let me get to see loads of boxing when I was in living in London as a old West Indian mate who came down our staff club used to service their cars, and so got free tickets. Some we blagged were at shit heaps like Elephant and Castle (you could play spot the villain at them shows) but also included a good few at the Albert hall (just a few minutes stumble from the staff club, which was nice!) Wembley grand hall and arena - so saw Lennox Lewis v Gary Mason, a few Honeyghan fights, Rod Douglas having his career ended (badly) by Herol Graham etc. Remember at E&C walking past Duff and Terry Lawless and earwigged their conversation - "I aint ever 'eard nuffink like it".  Wondered what it was then later heard Frank Warren had been shot (just checked, it was 30th November 1989 and next big thing Derek Angol was on the bill).

So Khan fights Collazo on the Mayweather/Maidana undercard - how do you see it going? Has Khan got the speed to win on points on does he out box Collazo? Is Collazo going to spark him with him being the more natural WW?

My gut feeling is Collazo stops Khan in the last couple of rounds. Khan will start quickly but will get exposed in the latter rounds and won't be able to keep Collazo off him late on.

If he's lucky enough to hang on like he did against Maidana he might have done enough in the first 6 or 7 rounds to edge a very close UD

Ill go for this.

Don't think Khan has the power to knock him out early,so this sounds plausible to me.

Mayweather will win every round and win on points by the way.

Is Broner on this card to?

The speed difference will be huge but Collazo is crafty, suspect he'll work Khan out eventually.

Collazo isn't a big puncher though, and realistically despite a good result against Ortiz, his best is likely years behind him.

If Khan can't win this he might as well jack it in. He's only interested in a Mayweather fight anyway, and that's only for the mega money. Not great reasons to be fighting at the top level, if you don't have the hunger you'll cut corners and get found out.
