He was mandatory and got his clock cleaned, in the WBC’s eyes that resets his value to 0 Hearn went in asking for an 60/40 split WBC laughed him out of the door, he’s lucky he didn’t get offered 90/10 80/20 on the first if Whyte wins 55/45 On the rematch Quote

Traf Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 20% of this purse will still be more than Whyte has ever made, surely? Quote

The base purse for the 3rd Wilder fight was £10m which Fury took 60% of. Plus the PPV money which they reckon was about £50m which again Fury got £60% of. Whyte wanted £10m Arum offered £5.5 which Whyte rejected. He’s now going to get £2m which is what he got for Povetkin which is his career highest but the PPV was nothing compared to what he will get for the Fury fight So yes it will be, depends how they now play this and it’s location. UK it’s guaranteed PPV sales. America it’s higher PPV less tax (if it’s vegas) but less numbers. And believe it or not Fury’s PPV numbers in America aren’t that great Quote

Frank Warrens company, I assume funded by Bob Arums Top Rank company. They were going to do anything to make sure Matchroom wouldn’t get it, seems to me that matchroom purposely drove up the prize to have more funding for Usyk Joshua 2 Edited January 29, 2022 by Rudy Quote

Rudy Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 He’s an awkward little fucker Whyte, orthodox but likes to put people on the back foot, he’s really susceptible to leaving himself open for a big punch. (See Joshua or Povetkin fight) but Fury isn’t a KO artist, he’s a boxing purest. I think he’ll keep Whyte away with his jab Quote
