I looked at it this morning. Anybody "homegrown" who is under 21 years old can be added to the squad. Also the term "homegrown" also doesn't mean English, it means somebody who has been with the club for a minimum period of 36 months.

 

As far as I know, the "loan window" is open for another month after the transfer window closes

If Dawson has been on the bench for the last 3 games then I would suggest he'll be staying there as part of their 25 man squad, unless they sign another CB.

 

Looking at Garrps list, it may well be that Anelka drops out anyway if he is serious about retiring

If he does retire, then I reckon he'll have properly shafted WBA. No doubt he got a fairly decent signing on fee and will have been on a decent wage for the last few weeks. He's also only leaving them with a couple of weeks to replace him

You would certainly hope so, otherwise we could be in for a long old season.

 

I didn't think that Mills looked to bad last night, he was a bit ring rusty but hopefully he could shake that off. At one point last night, during open play, I even saw him talking to Knight  -  imagine that, two of our CBs communicating!

Shirley he'd have to give back whatever they paid to him to join if he's the one rescinding his own contract

I was heading up to Manchester anyway, bumped into AW and John Bishop, but no sign of Dawson.

I'm sure west brom will look to add to the squad aswell. They got Sinclair in who replaces odemwingie. If anelka does retire I'm sure they will add another striker.

 

Also Dawson won't want to sit on the bench. He wants to play. I think we will get him.
