September 2, 201312 yr Potentially got a week off over Christmas for the first time in seven years. Where's good where I can get my chippy tits out and have a splash in a pool when it's too hot. Got a 6 month old baby in tow as well as the Mrs so need to consider that. Was thinking Cuba but wouldn't discount somewhere closer to home. Well travelled folk of wanderers ways give me your advice!
September 2, 201312 yr Canaries & Egypt (predictably) are both warm and within a reasonable flight time for a nipper. Cuba, USA and Caribbean are probably too far for just a week IMO.
September 2, 201312 yr Fly to Tenerife then go an extra mile (or 20 miles) and get the ferry to La Gomera from Los Cristianos, it's about 70-80 Euros return for a couple... Failing that, this place looks nice enough...

September 2, 201312 yr If you are doing the canaries good luck with the weather, last 3 winter holidays I've had there were a wash out. Probably just my bad luck but I'd go for Egypt in future.

September 2, 201312 yr I'm off to bloody Bolton for Christmas, providing the hotel sorts out its special offers. There's a pool, and luckily no football.
