Walking Away

Hugh. How can the club lose your support? Surely you support a team and then you're stuck with each other for life. It's not like a fucking tap you can turn on and off.

I don't understand why N'Gog is getting so much stick? Not once as he said he's wanted out and he certainly doesn't look like he's not interested on the pitch, gives 100% week in week out.

If he has lost the support of the players then I hope he does walk. His job is to motervate them to get results or at very least effort. Pretty much all the players have played regularly in the premie

The problem I have with the club is gartside, he's sitting there pretty getting richer whilst the club sinks and the fans fight each other

deflected any attention from himself onto the players

We're bottom of the table on his watch. Deflecting attention from his performance this season isn't something we should be applauding. If he doesn't think the players care, then give some of the kids a chance. He's supposed to be good at bringing the kids through isn't he? Isn't that one of the reasons we gave him the job? If not, we might as well give Jimmy Phillips another go.

The problem is you have massive issues and they are unexplainable! The hatred towards Gartside makes you come across as a comeplete and utter cunt. Yet you are relatively normal in day to day contact

Yes I know bud and your right but it is beyond me how people who are supposed to be guarding the legacy are doing it in such an half arsed way, when I calm down I will realise that I am still a wanderer but not one who is prepared to fund or defend the way things appear to be going at the moment.

In fairness to Hugh he seems a dyed in the wool solid fan who goes home and away and for a long time, its obvious he is hurting with the way the club is run and his solution is to bale out for the time being, hopefully once he has reflected on this he will be back when results start picking up, I know a lot of fans who are in the same category I am hoping that we can turn it round and they come back on board as we need all the fans we can muster.

Hopefully all the moaning fuckers jump ship. People give Diddles shit for being an attention seeker when he's miles off being the worst on here.

Come again?

Come again?

He's saying that you're a better person than the way you're coming across re: Gartside and the club.

It was actually quite complimentary.

I have a feeling a "Bromance" is starting with Big E flirting with Anewman

Reading your post it reads like you think he should replace anyone who's not good enough with a kid cause thats what he's good at,or get rid, but he can only bring in 1 or 2 kids at the most or the side will be worse than it is now. Rebuilding could take a long time it's not that easy.

Catpiss.100% effort over unused talent anytime. We can't do any worse than bottom of the league. He's not saying every player should be replaced. You know and we all know the ones he refers to

If you had too, who would you "do" Anewman or Big E???

I agree that bringing a load of kids in could do more harm than good, but he's backed himself into a corner by publicly slagging off some of the senior pros. Part of the job of being a manager is to manage difficult characters and players with egos bigger than their actual talent and if he's given up on that part of the job, then he should be prepared to back up his words with actions and drop them. If that means bringing in the kids, then he's got to be brave enough to do that. After all, he started off coaching Palace's youngsters, which is presumably one of the reasons we appointed him.

Go on then give me some positives about he current situation

I hope Dougie doesn't go because I genuinely think he will sort things out given time. I wonder if Kevin Davies was a major motivator in the dressing room irrespective of what he did on the pitch and that is a factor in the loss of team spirit... I am glad Dougie said what he said, it shows he really cares and I really hope he can fix our central defending quickly.

I doubt it.

The club has lost my support, i have dedicated a big part of my life to it and had good times and bad but I have never been so fed up and disapointed with the way it is being run and the lack of any "plan b" by the directors when they appoint a poor manager, or don't back him or let him chuck money at 2nd rate no hopers.

If the place had been run properly since Sam left (and I dont get that he alone was the reason we are skint-its 9yrs on ffs) then we would not have now been the laughing stock of the football world.

We have players no-one wants amd we have no cash to buy even in the bargain bucket, so whose fault is that. Without the Davies money the stadium would now be a home ground to a rubgy league team, god help us, or we would be watching Wanderers Bolton in the Hammerite paint div 7 or something.

So for now that's me out, good luck to you guys who still have the faith I salute you !

What a load of guff.

The only way DF is leaving is if he resigns.

The club cannot afford to pay him and his staff off.

Those of you already backing him: keep the faith and stay with him.

Those of you not behind him, get behind him.

Rome wasn't built in a day and he has inherited one almighty fucking mess.

The only way is up (this season anyway)

I'm not convinced he has.
