    I think Megson is one of the most unlikeable managers in the game. I thought that even before he took over at Bolton, there's just summat about him that makes me want to launch a brick into his face

    The advantage of appointing him was continuity, the disadvantage was his lack of managerial experience.

     

    Considering the plan was to completely overhaul the playing style without spending any money it was probably too risky from the start.

     

    And as Anewman points out the ' better than BSA' comment really left a bad taste in the mouth.

     

    And I ain't in the Gartside is evil crew - in fact fair play to him for giving Lee the boot so quickly.
