Next month sees the start of severe weather hitting our glorious country and hopefully cutting Scotland adrift from us.

 

My mucker up there who works for the Met Office,says November will bring very bad snowfalls and possibly record low temperatures for that time of the year.

 

He was pretty accurate re the nce summer we had and is adamant this winter will be severe.

 

All goes back to the ''blockers'' he told me about early this year.

Stayed in a b&b round there a few years back with the missus and lad when he was about 4yr old. Think it was called Vidella or something like that. Run by a couple of blokes who were uber camp but we had a great laugh with them in the bar and had a nice meal there too surprisingly.

The landlord was as camp as a row of tents and a good mate of The Gonch.

Actually quite a nice hotel considering where it is,mind you the ones run by poo pokers usually are,always clean and well presented.
