Im not a fan, but need to at times. Especially today......delivery of my De Longhi!!!!

Working from home is great. The dress code is a bit tough though.

We've not had a working from home thread for a while

Correct. On that note, since last month nothings changed here, I'm still not working from home :)

Thinly veiled I've got a job thread, unlike Big E.

I'm not a fan, I end up doing fuck all during the day and making up for it with a couple of hours here and there in the evenings during the week.

I find an early email and a couple of emails later on prevent any questions being asked though.

Just sorted some bills out, and hooverd up....only because I didnt check the pockets on the clothes I put in the washer....washed / shredded tissue all over the place.

I work from home 3 days a week.

It is great when dead busy as you can plough through stuff, however tinternet is a massive distraction.

As you can see, but bet I spent more time on it when working in an office.

Realistically in the office a lot of time is spent faffing, making brews, chatting etc

So working from home, you can probably burn through your work in an intense 2 hours

However I just cannot be arsed with typing everything, every request I need to make to people, some of which is hard to explain in writing

I'd rather go in and do it face to face

Also I enjoy my commute... it's rare time alone with nobody (i.e. the kids) pestering me

Worked from home for the last 8 years, don't think i could work in an office ever again now.

If I worked from home I'd have to pay tax, so no thanks

Sadly, I don't have the kind of job where you work from home. I am well jell of anyone who does

I do 2 or 3 days a week , I fucking love it. Get up, no commute, good gym sesh at lunch, all the evening to yourself. I'd struggle to do 9-5 5 days a week in an IT office, it's fucking tedious and there's no clunge.

It has its good points. But I will have a huge list of people to see tomorrow, that I know.

As much as everything can be done over Email / phone, nothing quite beats face to face.

Working from home is far better than dealing with fuckwits face to face.

Indeed, and not going in work at all, is better than going in.

Will they not let you bring the sewing machine home?

I'm a cleaner, you dick

Do a bit of both.

Tried a couple of days last week interspersed with a bit of painting in the cellar (thinly veiled as "I've got a cellar") and ended up doing fck all work. Found the painting therapeutic though (thinly veiled as I was stressed & needed therapy!).

It's incredible how much having a bath helps solve problems, I am thinking of getting one installed in the office .

Soaking in your own filth.....

Soaking in your own filth.....

Baths are for relaxing in, showers are for cleaning yourself

How many times do we have to go through this.
