When sweden were knocked out of the Euro's Zlatan was asked who he thought would win it his response was along the lines of 'why should i give a shit i'm off on holiday'.

In 2010 WC he was Man of the Match in all group games, hasn't scored many in the tournament but neither has Messi, doesn't mean they haven't played well. as of now the WC CR7 is mainly known for his 'wink' v England and Rooney.

 

Portugal impressed at times in Euro 2012, but for a while now they seem to make it hard for themselves to qualify, Sweden without Zlatan are un-interesting except maybe the ex Elmander link.

Apart from your home team, Brazil, Spain and Argentina are the three teams to watch, the players who'll get the most attention will be Neymar, Messi and CR7/Zlatan

 

A WC without CR7 is better I guess for teams who would have had Portugal in their group, but still this is the biggest WC and CR7 is the 2nd best player in the world, I'd defo rather watch his fantastic ability over teams like Bosnia etc, it's a team game, CR7 can't do it all on his own, but individually he;ll be worth tuning in for, well that's if you're not jealous, a Man United hater or you don't like tricky players.

Used to see a lot of that before Barca went to Arsenal in the CL and Zlatan scored, probably the same who say let's see Messi do it the Prem, like the Prem is the pinnacle even though the best players don't play in it or eventually move on.

 

He showed against England what an absolute genius he can be, some of the goals he's scored for PSG this season have been incredible.
