Cue the "pretentious" and "condescending" remarks. ...but yes, some people will probably shout and scream at their TV/radio/PC as well. If you actually read what I put in my long-ass post earlier, I was actually referring to how people outside of the UK football culture become more emotionally detached, not just people not at the game. Intelligent enough?? So those that have gotten emotional at the game and/or have screamed at the TV / radio lack intelligence then? Most people on here are perfectly fine, and have rational discussions, and can accept other people's opinions. A lot of people on here are thick as pig shit. I've said that I don't scream and shout at the TV because I've lost a connection with my club from being detached from the UK football scene. I never said I know more, I said that I can see that when we lose a game by one goal that we had a game plan and it just didn't work, rather than throwing insults at players and asking for the manager/chairman/owner to be sacked.
