Rembrandt Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I'm switching over before the scousers start having an orgasm of world-beating celebration - forgetting victimhood for a minute or two. Â Lively game though. Quote

only1swanny Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Did they mention there is a family stand? In North lower. . Was it there by any chance? Â The vocal guy behind me making a few anti swearing jokes. Â In the midst of 'referee is a wanker' stood up and shouted "stop fuc@ing swearing". Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Did they mention there is a family stand? No, it's not the first time either, he had a little girl with him, the sweary bloke said something like he's a cheating twat, and the bloke with the little lass got up confrontational, it was handbags for a few seconds, the sweary blke was saying that the reebok wasn't a sodding church. Casino Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 jules is the expert on that  i had thoughts of mark davies when he walked off  as i say, looks more like a muscle Quote
Garrp Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I'm no expert but it looks like groin to me  Him having groin issues last season probably influences my guess Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 jules is the expert on that  i had thoughts of mark davies when he walked off  as i say, looks more like a muscle Was mentioned near us that he must be ok because he's walking off...and then someone mentioned when Davies played on for 5 minutes after his injury last season. Casino Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 i reckon his right hand goes down to the back of his right leg  we'll see Quote
Gonk Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) He clutches his hamstring as he falls over. DF in the post match reaction mentions he tweaked his hamstring too - though I appreciate that this being a fact will probably be disregarde by some.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bw2-0ZeTXo Edited January 12, 2014 by Gonk Quote
Eddie Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 i reckon his right hand goes down to the back of his right leg  we'll see  Definite hamstring from his reaction, like you say his hand goes straight onto the back of his right leg. I'm going to guess at a month before he's back.  As for the game I like the fact that he's finally decided to go for it, completely new formation of a 442 with a diamond midfield.  It's a shame Beckford got injured as early as he did, he and N'Gog look like they link up pretty well, when Moritz came on we lost that man looking to play on the shoulder and go in behind.  Baptiste had his best game for a long time for me, Lonergan and Danns were top class, Spearing was ok and did what he needed to do in a disciplined role but I'll ask again, what the fuck does Lee do? For me with that formation Medo could have played that role as they played quite narrow almost like a midfield 3 at times and Medo is good enough on the ball to push out to the right when needed.  Finally a mention for Zat Knight, I give the lad enough shit and I believe that the majority of the time he fully deserves it but yesterday he had a very very good game along with Mills.
