Boring Parking Query

I usually park up past the Beehive but I've done my knee in.

Is there one of those camera things with a time limit on Asda car park or should I be ok?

It's right you could be having a meal and going to vue .

I reckon your fine mate.

Your browsing round the complex for a couple of hours.

Thanks chaps. Feel free to delete this Mods. Just wanted to double check!

A bit late now, but I always park as close to the KFC exit as possible = quickest getaway.

Then after the game, head towards Asda petrol to the mini roundabout and take a left heading towards the piggery.

Stay in the outside lane, but still take a left at the police station and it's plain sailing from there.

Tesco

Easy and straight out

I parked on Scott's yesterday. Granted you pay, but I stayed till the end. Obvs didn't walk fast (Gonch will confirm my slow dwarf speed) and was in the cherry tree on the A6 for ten past 5

How much is it to park on there? Always wondered what the craic is rather than trekking over from Homebase.

Nb is correct.

Its worth the fiver to get away.

Back on the fylde coast for 5:45 and I stopped till the end and failed to best the busses.

Micky D showed me a good free spot in the middle of some houses when I picked some programmes up off him.

it's a fiver which is dear I know, but if there's a car full I suppose it's not bad

Cheers, might give it a go at the Bournemouth game (will be no bugger there anyway against Cardiff).

Does it make me unsociable though if it means I miss my post match pint?

The car park on the other side off Scott's next to the police station is a goodn as well.

That's a fiver too but your offskis.

You used to get a drinks voucher (for Scotts) with the parking but that stopped a good while back.

I used to use the away fans car park but tell the bloke at the entrance I was hotel guest. Getting there for about 1ish meant I could reverse into a space near the ESL.

I left my seat when they put the board up for added time and waited at the top of the steps. A dash to the car at the final whistle and I was away before the visiting fans and usually back in Macclesfield for 5:40.

I'm now a shitfan due to work and when I do go its on the train. Easy to get there but a pain in the arse to get home.

People who block the stairs properly get on my tits, one got barged yesterday.

I have a deveres gold card which used to allow me to park on the hotel car park for free but I presume that's no longer valid now we own the place

For the occasional time I drive i use the car park across from barnstormers,

A quick trip up to the A6 then get on the motorway at chequerbent

Most if the time I'm ont mini bus, and let the driver worry about traffic

I hope this knee improves, took me bloody ages to get away yesterday, despite nipping into Asda for 20 minutes and a slow hobble across the car park.

Incidentally, why are you not allowed to buy alcohol from Asda if you've been to the match? I can understand not being served if you're on your way, but on the way home seems a tad harsh!

How do they know you've been to the match?

How do they know you've been to the match?

There was a bloke in front of me with a Wanderers hat on who didn't get served. He claimed he hadn't been and was just wearing the hat, but they were having none of it.

They used to do that in tesco as well

Wouldn't serve me and a mate (who had been to the match)

But did serve an old couple in front of us

We said we hadn't, she said whilst she couldn't prove we had been to the match, we couldn't prove we hadn't!

So suggested it was dodgy ground to be serving folk based on appearance and presumption

So she served us

Think they now have a blanket ban and don't serve anyone till 8pm

They wouldn't let you buy a blanket either? Bastards!

Tickled me that

It's lonely on this toilet.

Only if you buy them with a pack of werthers

I believe they wouldn't sell a knife to Satan either.

In my local tesco (nowhere near a football ground) they are told not to serve anyone booze if there is a smell of alcohol on them. Whether it be one pint or ten. Got refused having had two pints.

Though go to the asda round the corner and you'd virtually have to be on your hands and knees and piss against the self service machines before they might even question if you're in a fit state to buy alcohol
