Now Let's Play Eddie Davies

Following on from garps dougie game, what are you're thoughts.

It's Monday 10th February, just lost a 2-0 lead to Bournemouth, what are you gonna do? If anything.

And Have bit of thought behind it, not just "sack the prick"

I'd be off to Barbados. Then I'd sack him

Get on the accountants and figure out if you can sack him now but delay any compo payments until next season to not further fuck up our ffp problems this season (yes I know we have to deal with it at some point but better when all our big earners are magically shipped off somewhere else).

Get Jimmy and Sam in.

Pour large brandy.

I'd think it's a good job I sacked him last week, and left him as Acting Manager for 3 months with the assurance of his job back and secure for another 12 months provided relegation is avoided.

Sack Phil

I was thinking that when I saw the Team Sheet on twitter...

Seems all to convenient that does..

" Have you forgotten the Itinery we discussed, WIN a bloody home game."

" Get shut of that waste of a shirt at centre half , if he is on the pitch ,we don't Win "

No he Didn't became it isn't !!!

when I saw the title of this thread I thought he was going to be left back tonight.

Dougie do what you're doing, blame the players, we will get to a point where. There's no return, I can then call the administrators take a 12 point deduction as we are goin down already and the fans will understand. When we are debt free I can sell to that korean mob for a tidy profit and not pay any debt off, its all mine

Machine gun, splat. Start again

The debt he owes to himself?

Some flaws in there. Most notably, apart from who the debt is to, is that if a club goes into administration when it is beyond the point of no return the penalty is deferred into the following season.

Most of the clubs we have yet to visit have been in administration at some time in the last 30 years (including the next 3 we visit), so the directors can do their research there, they're good at that.

Sack everybody.

Demolish the Reebok.

Build a big spaceship.

Fly to the moon, sit on a huge golden throne in the middle of the Sea Of Tranquility and declare myself king of space.

I think that's everything covered.

The debt he owes to himself?

Does he though???

Hello!Helloooow!! Is that Dougie? Dougie Freedman? Its Ed,I,ve got this plan.Phil Gartside is,nt there with you is he? No oh! Just thinking 2 birds 1 stone and all that.

Freedman is going nowhere. Wouldn't bother getting your knickers in a twist about it this side of close season. Grit your teeth and get on with your life.

On paper, don't we owe the bloke 160 million quid or similar?

Can anyone confirm that he owns everything? Reebok, Euxton, the whole shebang?

If so, he doesn't need to do anything does he? Just sit tight, hold the purse strings tight (meaning not paying out Dougies contract) and hope things turn around.

why do people keep saying freedmans going nowhere?

On what basis

if it was my company irrelevant of the cost he would be gone. He hasnt performed simples...

the board need to make a decision quick

It seems to me the club are intent on giving DF the opportunity to manage the club once the big earners are off loaded that might change pretty soon though as with every defeat and bottled performance we inch closer to the trap door, it's clear DF can't motivate or man manage large numbers of the current squad and top managers that is their bread and butter.

I think what they mean is Davies would rather be relegated than pay the £1 million it would cost to sack Freedman, Lawrence and Fleming.

Well if thats the case, that is equally as shocking...

Im sure the business plan does not have 1st division football in it.

However Im sure the business plan didnt have £160m worth of debt in it...

Fucking usless from Davies down.

Why not just go into administration now?  -  what happens if we avoid relegation, does he then defer going into administration until the end of next season when he hopes that we will once more be down near the bottom.

I really don't get why you think he would delay going into administration if that's what he really wants.

Also, if we did go into administration, he wouldn't actually be able to sell anything would he, as it would surely be in the hands of the administrators and broken up and sold off to the highest bidders
