Heard the chairman of Hull fc on the wireless talking about this idea of bonus points in super league. He reckoned it was being seriously considered because there are teams in the league who have too much influence, though he reckoned that two of them would be relegated (so assume he meant London and maybe Bradford) so then it should be a more balanced debate. He also reckoned too much sky money goes to the championship at the expense of super league.

Is he reet or is he just whinging because hull are having a shite season despite bigging themselves up pre season (as they always do then fail)

It's the first year there's been any sort of decent money from Sky going to the Championship so I'd suggest he's just trying to deflect his own failings.

He's afraid because the way they're going, they'll be coming to a full time leigh centurions next season getting his arse tanned.

Like always Hull FC have made a great job of spunking a shitload of money (in SL terms) and still managing to be shit as fuck.

I didn't think there was promotion or relegation in Rugby. It'll be good if they did go up, but are they actually allowed to, because to aren't they just Wigans reserve side these days?
