So I would say 3500 for a (winning) team at a level below is fairly good. The shake-up comes next season. SL is reduced to 12 and then the 24 clubs in SL and Championship split into 3 groups of 8. The middle group are playing for 4 SL places. That middle group next year is going to be a bit tasty. One would presume Bradford, London, Leigh and a.n. other to qualify from the championship. I hope we (Salford) can avoid it...

August 11, 201412 yr Meanwhile, in other news, at the LSV on Saturday Leigh Harriers won Northern Counties Athletics League Division 2WC (it's a shit division) and go forward to the promotion match for the top 2 teams from each of 2WC, 2W, 2E and 2EC at Doncaster (adjacent to the Keepmoat) on 6 September.
