Meanwhile, in other news, at the LSV on Saturday Leigh Harriers won Northern Counties Athletics League Division 2WC (it's a shit division) and go forward to the promotion match for the top 2 teams from each of 2WC, 2W, 2E and 2EC at Doncaster (adjacent to the Keepmoat) on 6 September. The top 2 in that match will replace Derby and Blackburn in Division 1.

Bolton United remain in 2WC, but Bury were relegated.
