March 27, 201412 yr Not that I want any, but how the fuck do folk get hold of them? One was set off a few feet away from me outside Wetherspoons on Saturday and for a split second I literally thought a bomb had gone off. After about 10 minutes my hearing fully returned. Random local old bloke trying to enjoy a quiet pint next to me looked like he was going to have a heart attack. I'm failing to see how these add any kind of a fun element to a day out. March 27, 201412 yr My sometimes hard of hearing old man from inside the pub thought the A board had blown over. Bless him haha
March 27, 201412 yr My sometimes hard of hearing old man from inside the pub thought the A board had blown over. Bless him haha I thought someone had knocked a table over, I was much further away than I was to the one that went off in Harry's in Wigan. That felt like id been hit round the face. Almost knocked me off my feet.
March 27, 201412 yr Was stood at the back of spoons and made me jump. Seem to remember one went off in the ground as well
March 27, 201412 yr Author I'm curious as to what they actually look like and how they're set off. Presumably they have to be lit and are, in effect, a really big banger? I'm also guessing you can't just pick them up in your average temporary firework shops, that tend to pop up on main roads every so often?

Don't know where you'd buy them though.
March 27, 201412 yr Well there'd be no danger of being caught on CCTV they didn't even have a scoreboard (well they did, but nobody saw it until we were leaving)
March 27, 201412 yr flash bangs are military grade stun grenades, with a blinding flash and a deafening bang they fuck you up for about 1 min, the things these people have are probably more akin to a thunder flash which is similar to a flashbang but less powerful.
March 27, 201412 yr Right behind our heads. Me and Andydee were grizzling about them not having one as we'd nipped out and nobody knew what the score was ha ha. "Even Horwich Cricket has one!"
March 27, 201412 yr Author I had no idea there was a scoreboard until I saw photos on Monday. It's not like it's right in the middle and very noticeable...
March 27, 201412 yr You can probably find them on here... http://www.ultrasshop.com/ If you are in the market for some distress flares and/or a balaclava, fill your boots kids.
March 27, 201412 yr a certain morris green lad let one off outside wigan's dump of a ground on boxing day in 84 before we baled into them and scattered the shithouses everywhere. proper noisy
March 27, 201412 yr I'm shoving a box of these in my pocket on Saturday. It's gonna get proper nawty... Edited March 27, 201412 yr by Cheese
March 27, 201412 yr I'm shoving a box of these in my pocket on Saturday. It's gonna get proper nawty... Haha got hauled before the year head for bringing those I'm school! My mate lobbed one through the chemistry room window and then got accused of attempted arson. Remember them bomb bags where you squeezed the little pouch in the middle and then it went off? Took em to Burnden and let em off under the paddock during the game. Made a break from the norm of cuppies with a tin can.
March 27, 201412 yr One went off in the ground, youngish lad stood at the back of me shit himself that much he fell over haha

I was too much of a pov to buy them though, so I went with the DIY alternative and just stamped on inflated Capri Sun bags in the school yard. It was pathetic. Edited March 27, 201412 yr by Cheese

It was pathetic. Ah yes the old Capri sun stamp. Much akin to piercing a can of cherry 7-up with a pair of compasses or pottery needle (later to be used as bong stogie)
