Thats almost feasible as I know its a coating on the screen...............

Thinking about those brummie blokes on the telly ads who put suckers on your car windscreen to remove scratches and chips if that's any help.

Stop taking pictures of scratches and using them as screensavers, it worked for me.

Rub it with toothpaste.

Brillo pad with bleach.

Chewed up jam rag

Just cover up the scratch with tippex.
