There were some young Muslims on breakfast TV this morning. The lad spoke of Muslim women being 'unsexualised' or a similar word like that & that it needs to change, the girl agreed. The girl had a hijab on. I shook my head & turned it off.

On here you mean?

Anywhere.

It makes no difference.

It does make a difference, it makes a difference as to whom exactly are the 'bedwetters' on here, and if you're inferring they are deferring judgement on a gang (or gangs) of fucking rapists.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would defer judgement on rape, there is however a silence from "bedwetters" generally as to how & why it was allowed to happen.

The rapists should be identified and prosecuted.

The police who failed to act appropriately should be disciplined, demoted, sacked and in some cases prosecuted.

The council workers who were coerced into knowingly falsifying statistics, should be treated similarly, with supervisory staff and management prosecuted.

The politicians who set the targets should be made to understand how their narrow focus created a much bigger problem.

I heard a father on Radio 5Live saying that about a third of the girls were in care but the majority were not. Nor were they all from sink estates or poor areas of town. He was a man with his own business, living in a relatively affluent area. His daughter began by simply hanging out at the Meadowhall centre with friends, playing the arcades. The change in behaviour was initially put down to teenage awkwardness, but when eventually confronted by her mother she said she was being raped regularly. Her mother said "Ring 999", her daughter said "Don't waste your time". She rang anyway, and found she was indeed wasting her time. And this was 12 years ago.

I've not wet the bed since I was erm, last pissed...

Inappropriate glibness aside, personally I don't know where to begin, I've not been able to look a the links or read anything further, I can't stomach anything like that these days - it's a cop-out I know, but reading grim shit was making me lose all faith in humanity.

I've just been on the CPS site reading the sentencing guidelines for sexual offences and that's it.

Of course I'd like to see those responsible serve the maximum available sentences (still not enough in my opinion), those who allowed it to happen would also get custodial sentences in an ideal world.

The negligent parents and guardians would be named and shamed, and society could treat them as pariahs.

There's not much else to write, I did think about chipping in earlier, but there were inappropriate (IMO) humorous posts (not very humorous, to be frank) and one or two of the other usual anti-p*ki crap - anyway,  this only increased my sense of having nowt to add, so I decided to keep out of it.

Oh aye, as for 'why' horrific things like this happen, well, that may entail making excuses or some form of validation for rapists - there is none.

Finally, I lived in Daubhill (or on the cusp) for many years, I've probably had more altercations than most with lads and men of pakistani descent when I've found their behaviour objectionable and pulled them up on it - I don't like the inference I won't stick my neck out when the boot is on the other foot.

And regarding overtly PC behaviour, I'm not in favour of this at all, 'big glasses and big earring ****s' I used to call them in private, but, loathe to say it, it's the fruit of the seeds that were sown in the seventies and eighties (earlier?) - when institutional and casual, everyday-life racism and prejudice were rife...

the why I posted was why it was allowed to go on, not just why it happened.

I haven't read enough to really speculate on that 'why', but I'd guess it's because certain members of the police force in question had a sliding scale of whom deserved the full protection of the law, whom deserved justice - I'd further guess troubled, possibly 'mouthy' young girls who had a history of trouble and perhaps a open disdain for the police came low down on this ad-hoc scale.

The thought of some big glasses, big earring b*tch lying awake at night praying for a whitey to be implicated and/or sitting on evidence knocks me sick.

Like I wrote, I'd like to see custodial sentences, the whole thing (in my limited knowledge) smacks of neglect of duty of care to the ultimate degree.

And, yes, I have no doubt that some sections of the community from which the perpetrators came, those who were not actively participating in these actual heinous acts, knew and kept quiet, or worse, helped cover up the crimes.

Fuckin hell

Thing is

Wouldn't surprise me if there's been more elsewhere

And it'll continue to go on

Fuck knows how you stop it

But you have to be seen as trying to stop it

And that goes for communities as much as police forces and child protection services

A strong message has to be sent

All I'm hearing at the moment is that this will continue elsewhere

Then decent folk will take it into their own hands, sometimes indiscriminately

And thems the ones who will most likely be punished

Depressing

No, let's start before the offence & change the attitude of Pakistani men towards sex & white women & their communities attitude to speaking out about the beasts who live among them.

There's nothing wrong with coveting women. Allow people to use the moral compass evolution has created & not an Religious preachers' & a more acceptable attitude to sex will prevail.

Oh and allowing folk with half a brain to say that out loud without accusing them of being a far right extremist.

Just a few ideas there.

Well, as a white woman with no political sway (that I know of) - I think you're on a hiding to nothing there. What do you propose to do, what could anyone do?

I'd prefer to take a view that this may spur the police into doing their job at last, along the lines of Operation Yewtree. I hope the offenders, each and every one are tracked down and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Do you not realise how many kids of pakistani heritage look on in dread of what lies ahead for them? You've got to believe reform will come from within somehow, because there's not much we can do. Rightly or wrongly it's seen as interference from the outside - it arguably fosters a feeling of 'I've done nothing wrong - why am I lumped in with them?' - it causes resentment, it creates division.

If you genuinely think the whole community in question is to blame wholesale then you're entitled to this opinion, otherwise it is prejudice.

No matter how monstrous the crimes of some from the community, to indict the community as a whole - it's prejudice, plain and simple, unless you genuinely believe the whole is responsible - in that case, the only solution I can think of would never, ever happen (it's not one that incorporates the word 'final' either).

Youri it is does seem to be a particular section of the male Muslim community, usually Pakistani/ Afghani and even then mostly a particular area I.e Kashmir region. It is clear that they consider treating young white girls as 'toilet paper' (term used in the telegraph article) as acceptable and in a way that they would never treat women/girls from their own community. It is a cultural and racial issue and needs to be addressed by that community as well as outside. It seems to have happened on such a shocking scale because both the abusers and the police seem to have dismissed these kids as white slags not worthy of protecting. Shocking and let's be honest it's going on in towns all over the The country where these particular communities are based in large numbers.

I disagree, this is a criminal issue that needs to be addressed by the police and judiciary. The message that needs sending is direct to the beasts themselves - what you are doing is wrong, we are going to catch you, we are going to punish you.

I'm at a loss other than hoping the above happens, and that's it, nowt else to say - I've spoke up because Smiffs called out the so-called 'bedwetters', I try to keep out of thinking about news and current affairs, it just reinforces a Hobbesian worldview within me, I don't want the extra anguish so I've decided to opt out of reading or viewing about events which are beyond my control, like I wrote before, it's a cop-out on my part.

And that's me done on this, here or elsewhere - I'll stick to reading about that shower of shite (and the gobbin in charge) on the other board, and other, lighter topics on Behind the Stands. It's not worth the cortisol release getting involved in these serious matters, it really isn't (for me).

Well we have had Rochdale,Rotherham threads there will plenty more towns and cities to keep us busy on here trust me,and one more thing if you would of mentiond this in here before it went public you would of been shouted down with all sorts of names, and that's not a dig at a certain person if he reads this there are plenty more!

A government comprised of WW posters would sort all this(and more) out.

"I can categorically say that until I came into children's services in 2010 I was not aware of the depth and breadth of child exploitation in Rotherham," he told BBC News.

So, he knew about it

Happened here some years back but it was Lebanese blokes. Same attitude and modus operandi. Give the white slags some muslim cock was one of their mantra's apparently. A good number were arrested and convicted.

This was the initial fuse for the Cronulla riots but the PC types did not want that trumpeting as it would give succour to the opponents of the multi cultural experiments all of these lefties and bedwetters promote. Instead, if I remember rightly, they said that this grooming explosion wasn't the sole cause and there were other factors involved including beach fights at Bondi, Manly and Cronulla and all sorts of other 'manufactured' reasons why this was not related to cultural differences and the serial rape of young white girls.

Bullshit!

Typical leftie view that thinks of the perpetrators and their background first and come out with some "whataboutery" as they simply cannot bring themselves to lay the blame where it belongs. You cannot resist playing "prejudice" card.

Ok I  will drop my so called "prejudice" when:

1. The Pakistani community "actually" takes steps to integrate into UK society.

2. They drop their defensive "victim" attitude.

3. They stop insisting on more an more Shariah law. (In fact all such Shariah law granted thus far in the UK should be repealed.)

4. They stop treating women in general like second class citizens and viewing those that do not cover up as harlots and deserving of assault.

5. They stop importing Saudi imams.

6. They get hold of the anti western radical islamic views within their circles and "out" those with those views.

7. They put being British first before their love of their country and origin, but more importantly their stone age religion which they genuinely believe absolves them of any moral come back, i.e. if its in the blessed Koran its all that matters.

Until then I will just have to carry on wearing the label you want to give me.

Have a read of this and see how a strong message could be sent without reform of these guidleines - they're a joke in my opinion.

http://www.cps.gov.uk/legal/p_to_r/rape_and_sexual_offences/sentencing/

The guidelines seem OK. The fact that they are only followed if the Police charge an offender rather than issuing a caution is a major part of the problem.

If 5 years is the absolute minimum sentence for rape, and increased for the various aggravating factors appropriately, then a caution cannot be appropriate.

As a fully paid up member of the Wanderersways bedwetting community, I would like to go on record as saying that I think what happened in Rotherham is a disgrace and if it is true that certain people in positions of responsibility withheld information or turned a blind eye to what was going on (out of a fear of being branded racist or for some other reason), then they should be punished along with the perpetrators.

I've no idea why some folk seem to think whether or not you find the whole situation disgraceful boils down to whether you lean to the left or right? Surely this is one issue we all agree on?

Or religion, "our" religious folk are some of the worst paedos out there.
