that's why I want to kick girls like this in the cunt. There's girls in other countries would love the freedom and choices they have in our society but these stupid bitches who have had the luxury of being educated, and it is a luxury still for done girls, choose to do this.

Look, what's not to like? They'll probably get some buck-toothed, leathery skinned husband, hung like a dray horse, who will roger them senseless for years until the stretch marks and similarity to throwing a sausage up Bradshawgate kick in and he'll want a younger model.

They'll have hordes of kids and endless amounts of washing and cooking to do. Admit it. Female heaven.

Of all the questions three kids travelling to a warzone raise in my head, that would be about 1638th

Bizarre

Is it the only thing that you've read on here that has upset your sense of fair play so much that it's driven you to respond like that? Get off your high donkey and treat it in the humerous way it was intended.

Of course I'm not bothered if their parents are still claiming benefits for them. Of course I think it's a serious matter. But lots of stuff on her get a little joke shoved into very serious subjects or have you forgotten what makes this forum better than most others?

Maybe but lifted my spirits and is a source of great hope.

Let the cunts slaughter each other instead of innocents. Would reduce the costs to the free world of eliminating the cancer. Everyone's a winner baby.

I said readers. We should respect other peoples' cultures apparently if you listen to some.

I've just been having a read through the comments section on the 'how common is forced marriage in the UK' section and nobody seems to be implying we should tolerate it.

There's a few who were trying to point out a difference between forced marriage and arranged marriage - but then equally as many people countering that if you're brought up believing that arranged marriage is the norm that it is in effect the same thing. I suspect that Guardian readers are a bit more sensible and moderate than you give them credit for.

it was a sweeping statement granted but I honestly think too much tolerance can allow unacceptable behaviour in. In my opinion arrange marriage is not too far away from forced. If you do fall in love with the person your parents/family have selected all is good but if he (or she) is not the one for you then it all goes very wonky. We have an inherent instinct to fall in love, I think it is one of natures gifts & it should not be stemmed. Sadly, arranged marriage very often does this. And don't even get me on marrying family members without previously having tests.

To be fair to the guardian, they have reported this

'Marriage to a blood relative accounted for nearly a third (31%) of all birth defects in babies of Pakistani origin.'

Whoops!

I'll get back to you on arranged marriages. I'm watching Game of Thrones series 2 and Robb Stark has just reneged on an arranged marriage in favour of one for love. I'm going to see what happens in the next series before I pronounce any judgement. :-)

It seems it was the fault of the Security Services that these 3 girls are heading to Syria as they failed them.

Nothing to do with the families then and not knowing where there daughters where?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-31572816

have you seen the statement from one of the families too? Apparently she's not in trouble & if she comes back she can help the people of Syria from over here. She's not helping the people of Syria she's going being a terrorist you fucking goons! FFS! Edited by no balls

Nope, it's all our fault in this hand wringing, bed wetting soft country. Let's ignore why 3 girls who have the benefits of living in a country where they have much more rights and freedoms as NB said, want to go and join a bunch of murdering medieval bastards who like sawing innocent peoples heads off, throwing people of tall buildings, burning folk alive and crucifixion! Just for starters. Now ok they may be young and ill informed but what does that say about the attitudes of people currently living here and hating us and everything we stand for?

Plus what happens when we stop some of these nut jobs going to join ISIS are they going to forget all about it? Or get a knife and go and try to chop some folks head off in the street here or get a gun and run riot at Trafford Centre? We shouldn't be wasting time and money looking for folk like this, let their families do that. We've enough on our plate protecting against fanatics at home.

My only question, does a 15 year old have their own passport?

I did. I'm pretty sure if I'd fucked off somewhere though my parents would've gone mental at me & blamed themselves as well as me.

I don't work for border security, but a 15 year old Muslim girl travelling by herself into Turkey would have raised a few eyebrows even as a hand wringing, bed wetting, lefteye melt.

I'm sure you mean can they travel on their own? As passports are given to new borns.

We took my daughters friend to Portugal last summer. We left the country no problems, only on return were we questioned at passport control and asked to produce a letter from her parents.

I asked surely this should of been done when we left the country with her and where does it say you need written permission from her parent? ( which when I subsequently checked you do)

"Your travel agent should of told you"

Erm I havent used a travel agent since 1993 pal

"Since madeline McCann we are a lot more stringent"

Yes but shouldn't you do this when I left the country with her....and I could quite easily write a letter myself....

Useless.
