Bit of confusion already though, its shows it coming on at 6:45 am (11hrs in front), but were 13hrs in front, were a bit worried they will cock it up, jayjayoghani has tweeted the tv station to sort it out.

There's the usual mass produced shite such as Speights but there's loads of independent breweries that make decent beer. You'd like Cassells Milk Stout from Christchurch.

 

Also Monteiths from Greymouth and Stoke from NZtrotter's backyard brew some decent ale.

Seen quite a few IPAs that use NZ hops.

Allgates All Black dark mild uses NZ hops come to think of it.

Robinsons South Island seasonal ale used NX hops, very nice it was too. Still available if you pay a visit to their Visitor Centre and Tour in Stockport, highly recommended
