October 31, 201411 yr . Mrs CWP's runs at about 25mpg, which is absolute dog shit, but she does only do short runs and feels the need to drive every where at 100mph I think I currently get 30. it's a flat dick thing
October 31, 201411 yr A3 convertible or an evoque convertible. Something with a roof that comes off & is a nice colour Just had a look at the Evoque, it would have to be the A3

October 31, 201411 yr Another good way of increasing MPG and power is to throw away your stock air filter and replacing it with a K&N , this delivers more air to your engine and there your engine works better, and therefor again better MPG See I don't get this - Car manufacturers are spending gazillions on engine development and aerodynamics to get better MPG and then spend god knows how much more advertising the fact. Why would they not fit the best spec air filter for the job if MPG gains can be made?

Why would they not fit the best spec air filter for the job if MPG gains can be made? Cost, their air filter 10p (which you have to keep replacing) or a K&N at x number of pounds (which never needs to be replaced , just washed and recharged with oil)
October 31, 201411 yr Cost, their air filter 10p (which you have to keep replacing) or a K&N at x number of pounds (which never needs to be replaced , just washed and recharged with oil) Ditto with the tuning.. Magician can get you more power and economy but they don't do it as standard.. Get my new one tomorrow and that's hopefully going to be tinkered with
October 31, 201411 yr Ditto with the tuning.. Magician can get you more power and economy but they don't do it as standard.. Get my new one tomorrow and that's hopefully going to be tinkered with With tuning you are going into a whole new realm, which to be honest I don’t really understand, all I know with modern cars you really have to be careful or you really can screw up your engine management computers if not fry them completely, I will leave that to the experts
October 31, 201411 yr Im currently thinking of getting a new car & I'm surprised at the fuel consumption on some I thought'd be high & they're really not. How do thry get power & not guzzle fuel these days? I'm impressed with this Audi I've got, £70 gets me 600 miles
October 31, 201411 yr I'm impressed with this Audi I've got, £70 gets me 600 miles is it a convertible?
October 31, 201411 yr is it a convertible? I wouldn't have thought so, as he's not a flatdick or a gayer
November 1, 201411 yr Mrs CWP has a convertible as well, that's definitely a flatdick thing (and gayers as well of course) - has any heterosexual bloke every actually owned a convertible through choice?Aye, my proper queer techno purple em free that Mrs cure made me sell mere weeks afterwards as it 'only had 4 seats' then announced when it got summer that "it would be nice to have that soft top bmw in this weather" Even more reason to ignore her when she moans about me buying cars & bikes..... November 1, 201411 yr 12p a litre off today so I filled the bastard up. So now I'm skint after feeding it but I'm still pleased about averaging 24.6 mpg over the course of last week. I've not hankered after an Audi (other than an UR Quattro) as I still don't live down derby street.
November 2, 201411 yr They will start kicking off somewhere in the Middle East soon and petrol prices will rise. I'm going to stock pile petrol in empty milk bottles in my shed.
November 2, 201411 yr The reduction will give the government the excuse to bump up fuel duty post election. We'll get till may as regardless of any other policies, petrol the winner
