bloody hell

50 overs to go?

yep

Going to end up being a 20/20 game at this rate.

Unfortunately they have AB de Villiers  :aggressive:

45 overs, 125 lead, 4 wickets left

should be reet if we can get it down to 30 overs

40 overs left, 145 lead

be reet

30 overs left and needing 180 would be too steep

You don't think they'd go for a run a ball with 10 wickets in hand?

i think theyd go for it, but with no field restrictions, i think we could defend it

Could have them all out before close tonight.

Johny Bairstow's run out was tremendous wicket keeping. Broad looks knackered

Let their tale wag a little longer than we'd have liked and we look to be really struggling with the bat now.

Stokes changing the game again

And rootys fucking class

Good day overall, pity the weather intervened, their bowlers looked knacked, and root was going along great guns.

Really hope Root carries on like this, could be a modern day great batsman, and there's no other English guys in that bracket.

Root now has the highest career average batting at 4 or 5 of any batsman over 2500 runs. He's 7 runs an innings ahead of Garfield Sobers in 2nd place.

Well, Cook's going to finish the most prolific opening batsman of all time.

Not if he carries on like he is

youre very quiet on your mon taylor

He should be in the team for the next 8 years.

No one does it every innings.

What a bizarre comment; he's only been in the team 4 matches and was our best batsman in 1, and made a vital contribution to a win in another. 3 quiet innings since then isn't even close to some sort of awful run.

Great test this. Wouldn't want to chase much north of 200.
