I have only drank 2 pints today, I spend 35% of my monthly wage on watching my football team, I expect I will feel worse rather than better than it tomorrow. I thought booze was meant to make people happy.

Tis a short term palliative

Don't worry, "Sober", you'll get a ticket

How? please explain?

Well, there's 11 days to the match, there'll be plenty of options. Patience might be a virtue, in this instance.

I think it's 15% - so more like 6.6k...we've got 5,655. So another thousand should be available...tho we've probably left it too late now. I bet no fucker will take any responsibility for this either.

id expect a man in your line of work to check his facts

Can't be arsed re reading the whole thread but what's gone on? I thought it was one per season ticket/client reference. Was it different online/telephone or summat?

Due to a cock up with client reference numbers all orders have been cancelled and we have to do it all over again this Sunday.

Definitely only 1 ticket per season ticket this time though!!!

The 5,655 we currently have was the figure quoted to me y'day by the ticket office when I was getting Sheff Wed tickets. But given what's come out of the ticket office today, who knows which figures to believe.

Which facts Casino? The 15%? That's what's always been quoted in the past for the FA Cup. Might be wrong though.

we are entitled to 15% if the police approve it

if we'd had 8000 (and that would be up to liverpool) and not sold 3000 of em, we'd have had to pay for them, no doubt

im very surprised we've sold out - in fact, i dont believe we have

The 15% is no longer a rule or an entitlement, but is a figure they now "try to work towards" where segregation and policing allow.

Oldham got just over 5,500 last year which would suggest that's a set allocation.

When tickets go on sale for a game I particularly want to attend I get up early and stand outside in the cold waiting to buy tickets. Do I do this because I enjoy standing outside in the cold? No, I do it because I don't trust the online system. I realise we are in the 21st century but I don't think the club does.

So there's no way we'd be getting 8k if capacity is 45k. They're at capacity for every game nowadays anyway, unlike in the Souness era when we had 8.5k out of a 34k crowd. I don't know if we got the max we were allowed, or we could have had maybe 1k more. The fact is, none of us know because the club have given very little information out, and when they have it's been misleading and contradictory. The information flow between them and Ticketmaster certainly hasn't been a model of clarity either - which is why multiple tickets have been issued to single client ref numbers...and why we're now in the mess we are.

Fwiw, I do believe (and said right from the draw being made) there's demand to fill whatever the supply is for this...just going off the number of people I know (and people they know etc) who were up for it in a way they haven't been for years.
