April 13, 201511 yr Could be a Jay. But they are more often seen in woodlands. Googled it - spot on. We do have a fair bit of woodland around but never seen one before.
April 13, 201511 yr Peregrines are fantastic. Anything that flies are fair game to them. Have I mentioned that one frequents the scoreboard corner floodlight. No pigeons at the Macron, fact! Watching them fight with the ravens for the town hall was always interesting viewing out of the office windows. The occasional stupid pigeon would get caught in the war zone and soon regret it.

How do you know it's a bird of prey if it didn't come out? If it is a BOP it might be a kestrel. Doubt it would be anything else though. There's plenty of buzzards up near the Macron. Seen 4 circling high like vultures round the back once.

So its probably looking for its relations Dawwwwn Daubhill.PROBABLY goes well on a chinese pancake with soy sauce and a bit of healthy green stuff.
