April 26, 201511 yr Just thinking about the champ for away days next year: Watford, boro and Norwich up. Blackpool, Wigan and Millwall down. Bristol, Preston and Sheff Utd up from League 1. Burnley, Villa and probably Hull down from the prem.
April 26, 201511 yr Hull to come down as I haven't been there, Burnley cause I f**king hate them, Preston to go up because again I haven't been there, would like Millwall to stay up because it's Millwall. Edited April 26, 201511 yr by SoberDan
April 26, 201511 yr Not Preston. Sadly they will though. Cunts They mostly always fuck it up, I see more play off despair in my crystal ball.
April 26, 201511 yr They mostly always fuck it up, I see more play off despair in my crystal ball. Please be right. What happy day to see all those Nobend fans bibbing @ Wembley.
April 26, 201511 yr Norwich and Bournemouth in our league Preston and MK from division 3 Couldn't give a toss about division 4
April 26, 201511 yr Hull to come down as I haven't been there, Burnley cause I f**king hate them, Preston to go up because again I haven't been there, would like Millwall to stay up because it's Millwall. Same re Hull and Millwall
April 26, 201511 yr Author Hull to come down as I haven't been there, Burnley cause I f**king hate them, Preston to go up because again I haven't been there, would like Millwall to stay up because it's Millwall. how the fuck have you never been to Hull #SHITFAN
April 26, 201511 yr Whoever comes down or stays up in our league the best aways will prob be spoilt by sky or midweek games,Preston for example won't be a sat 3pm kick off
April 26, 201511 yr Whoever comes down or stays up in our league the best aways will prob be spoilt by sky or midweek games,Preston for example won't be a sat 3pm kick off Friday night or Saturday 17.30 would suit me. Anything but midweek.
April 26, 201511 yr Norwich and Bournemouth in our league Preston and MK from division 3 Couldn't give a toss about division 4 As this but prefer Boro to go up and Bournemouth to miss out
April 26, 201511 yr pne could miss out on automatic , they have colchester away next week ,colchester have an outside chance of stayin up with 3 points. mk dons have yeovil who were relegated before christmas. would like pne to come up though
April 26, 201511 yr Two from Bournemouth, Norwich and Boro, get rid of these long trips. Hopefully then the remaining non London long trips will be all midweek again, nobody wants to go to Ipswich, Cardiff and Brighton anyway.
April 26, 201511 yr I think the long-distance games should be on Saturdays with the local stuff in midweek personally. It makes it easier for fans to attend more games.
April 26, 201511 yr Plus from mid-August to mid-May, there are 41 Saturdays. Take 2 off for FA Cup 3rd & 4th rounds leaves 39. Play an extra game at Christmas and one Easter leaves you with 41 again. Play a midweek game in August (non-League Cup week obvs) October half-term, February half-term and May Day Bank Holiday leaves just one other midweek game to shoehorn in. It isn't necessary to play 10 midweek games. Scrap international breaks for non-Premier League clubs. PS that's off the top of my head, there's bound to be holes in it, but its a starting point Edited April 26, 201511 yr by Traf
April 26, 201511 yr I just feel with the likes of Ipswich or Cardiff it might be 300 midweek vs 600 on a Saturday but Blackburn/Burnley midweek is 2000 vs 4000 on a weekend. Unless we're doing really well when our numbers would increase similarity to how Derby's have in my opinion. Edit: completely agree on scrapping international break outside of the prem. April 26, 201511 yr The thing about playing local games in midweek is that if you want to go you can. Most working folk or those with kids can't do Cardiff/Norwich etc on a Tuesday without fucking Wednesday up. I'd love to be able to take my youngest to new grounds, but when they're 5 hours away on a school night, it's not happening.
April 26, 201511 yr It's not exactly conducive to a great atmosphere though going straight from work to a derby game, having a beef tea then rushing home as you've got work in the morning.
April 26, 201511 yr It's not exactly conducive to a great atmosphere though going straight from work to a derby game, having a beef tea then rushing home as you've got work in the morning. I was thinking of people wanting to watch the match, though. Not going out for a social meet,
April 26, 201511 yr It isn't necessary to play 10 midweek games. Scrap international breaks for non-Premier League clubs. Scrap international friendlies as well. If every country just played qualifiers, no one would have an advantage.
April 26, 201511 yr I was thinking of people wanting to watch the match, though. Not going out for a social meet, I was thinking the 2 don't have to be mutually exclusive though.
April 26, 201511 yr Little Whit, had you done Norwich and Bournemouth at 20 years old, similar distance from here to Hull as Bolton to those. furthermore I wasn't even alive for "that" Friday night game. Now put the rod away.
Bournemouth or Middlesbro
Preston or Mk dons
Southend or Bury
