Still cheaper than fuel plus parking close to terminal.

£70 return from here, very reasonable for an 80 mile round trip.

Anyone used UBER?

I used them in LA, which saved me a bomb. Glad they seem to be on the rise here.

oooooh, look at me, I've been to LA :D

I've been waiting months for the opportunity to crow bar it in

If we're being flash, business class you get a driver. :)

How much do you usually pay?

That's who I used two years ago! Ta pal.

We paid £37 to park for a week and the shuttle bus was spot on.

Agreed, but it all depends on how long your flight has been and how far you need to drive home knackered.

Plus I like a drink on the way home. Not loads but enough to be a worry if stopped.

Ps who only has a week away?

Thought you were HTown?

They're fine

Anyone used UBER?

yeah, but they're already putting the prices up

well it's reasonable during the week and that

but at weekends - fri / sat evening, when it's busy, they seem to automatically now have a price hike of 1.5-2.5 times the normal price, which makes it more expensive than private hire

but its still worth it to watch them drive to your flat in real time

50 return with a pal of mine, many on here know him. Houghty.

Is that when work paid for your Holiday to Bangladesh?

Yes, and the Bali one. The one to Turkey next week too.

Unless you're another driver on the road at the same time or a lone female (allegedly)

See your point. I tend to fall asleep on planes rather than drink, I leave that to Mrs Dee.

Ps Sometimes it's better having things in smaller doses but more often than one big one a year....  ;)
