July 25, 201511 yr I'm criticising the club for NL not knowing what budget he has. If we have none, then we don't spend. If spending Eddie's money on players meant running up an unsustainable debt, after their previous assurances, then criticism is valid. Moaning is what you do at any supporter who criticises any aspect of the way the club is performing. And to add further. The problem with criticising the club for something's is that it is very easy to do in hindsight. I am very sure Eddie would have said no to Allardyce wanting money for a top striker if Eddie has a crystal ball and could see what would happen eventually. But he didn't and Allardyce signed Anelka. Had that not happened and Allardyce went the season before he actually did I can only imagine how people would have slated the club for a lack of ambition. And so on, when we needed a stronger squad to compete in Europe or stay up. Of course we are in a mess. No doubting that. And it is self inflicted. But the other option wasn't going to have fans on board either. And probably would have meant more mediocrity noire moaning and more accusations the club didn't know what it was doing. As someone says above if when we were in the premiership and our wages were going higher and higher as a % of revenue you voiced concerns and said we should reduce spending then you can legitimately talk about mistakes. But if not you are just likely to have been complaining in exactly the same way whatever happened.

It's gotten really low yet, every team loses season tickets when getting relegated. A potential buyer would see us getting those back when promoted. Things will pick up. July 26, 201511 yr Next fucking May we might swap places the way it's going. We might. But our wage budget will still be half way up this division if not more. And significantly higher than Wigan's. We are just carrying players that are expensive and the manager doesn't like. Perhaps he should be trying to get better out of the likes of Speariing if nobody comes in for him?

Roll on the football starting. Im looking forward to seeing how some of our younger players develop this season, we probably wont be winning the league but i will enjoy the ride
