July 23, 201511 yr Just a little bit of respect for the supporters and a pinch of honesty and transparency would be a start instead were treated like morons asked to stump up for season tickets with seemingly no plan from the board/owner to take the club forward, its little wonder we've shed so many season ticket holders, the fans of BWFC are the heart beat of the club and deserve more respect. The club hasn't disrespected anyone. People take too much to heart these days. too many people spending their days listening to people like the folk on the LOV website. United don't put all their information out to the fans? doesn't seem to cause the same problems. Nobody forced anyone to get a season ticket. they offered them out at set prices. they haven't siad they need x fans for recruitment. you are really need to take a step back and realise its no different than it has been for years. nobody moans when we win though i guess.
July 23, 201511 yr Surely a £250k saving could be made by Gartside taking a 50% pay cut?? Performance related pay an all that!!
July 23, 201511 yr Surely a £250k saving could be made by Gartside taking a 50% pay cut?? Performance related pay an all that!! You don't know his targets though. He may be in line for a massive bonus. People need to realise what you get paid for certain roles.

If we are bothering the top 2 positions come Christmas, fans will be clamouring for tickets and our attendances will be 20k+.Always will be the same!! Moan like fuck when we,re shit, and can't get enough of BWFC when we,re good..It'll never change! It's called being a football fan!

July 23, 201511 yr be a fan of the football and not the business surely? Have you been bumming Gartside again?
July 23, 201511 yr Have you been bumming Gartside again? I was thinking of you at the time so don't panic.
July 23, 201511 yr I was thinking of you at the time so don't panic. Most girls do, I'm a good looking lad!
July 23, 201511 yr True is that and that was the way it was 50 years back, but we are living in different times now the club should have a duty to keep fans engaged and informed. That would be the case if: 1. We were some kind of fan-owned co-operative. 2. A floated company. We are a privately run business and as such, only people deemed to be an interested party (in terms of the running of the club) should know what's going on in terms of day to day running. In general terms we are transparent - we have sod all and need to sell before we buy unless new money comes in. Not sure how much more detail you can expect.
July 23, 201511 yr We'll be well and truly screwed next season if we don't get investment. We'll have to find another £8 million coz this is our last parachute payment from the premier league. We get £1m from the new TV deal though.... So only another £7m to plug
July 23, 201511 yr Can someone explain it in terms of the Twix? Yes, of course. In terms of Twixes, we've currently got one Cadbury's Finger. We can't raise the Freddo needed to buy Le Fondre either.
July 23, 201511 yr We get £1m from the new TV deal though.... So only another £7m to plug Think I've sorted our financial problems now. Spurs were interested in signing Medo Kamara for around £16 million back in 2012 according to the Daily Star, surely he's worth at least our potential £7 million shortfall now isn't he? http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/266111/Tottenham-turn-to-16m-Mohamed-Medo-Kamara-as-Luka-Modric-replacement
July 23, 201511 yr I love a good debate about our financial situation it makes the summer go quicker roll on the 8th of fucking August ED out PG out NL out
July 23, 201511 yr Not just the fans kept in the dark then shockingly it extends to the manager of the club it seems to me that although Eddie Davies owns the club and PG is the chairman we are completely rudderless. People can make excuses as above but there is no excuse to be made and seemingly no accountability for this horrendous mess the club finds itself in. That glass half full attitude you claimed to have seems to have disappeared again.

July 23, 201511 yr Yes, of course. In terms of Twixes, we've currently got one Cadbury's Finger. We can't raise the Freddo needed to buy Le Fondre either. seen the cost of a FREDDO now its cheeper to buy a football club
July 23, 201511 yr Then how do you glass the cunt? I have to use a broken bottle or a now-defunct glass ashtray from a pub.
July 23, 201511 yr Funny how we can get doom and gloom from a nothing article. The BBC will have been interviewing NL and asking him how many players are on his radar and then embellished the story around his responses. Let's look at the quotes: "It's a big challenge because we don't really know where we are in terms of what we have budget-wise," "We are looking at trying to get value for money, it's difficult." "But we're hoping that we're going to be down the line with one or two deals in the next week or so, that will enhance the squad." "A number two goalkeeper is a priority and a right-back obviously, another centre-forward and there may be one or two going the other way as well." The reason he doesn't know, budget-wise, is because he hasn't shifted all the players he wants to shift out yet. If he doesn't get rid, he can't bring new blood in. Nothing to see here, move along.
