I've been watching this shit storm on the horizon for a fair few years now, I'm not surprised it's now rolling in.

The worse thing is.

You ain't seen nothing yet.

Go on....what's coming?

Now I might be making this up....but didn't our Chairman say a few years ago that BWFC wouldn't find itself in trouble if the team was relegated, as provisions had been put in place with regards to not only players contracts, but also regarding "non footballing" activities

i think that was before our wage bill hit 12th in the league

one things for sure, it should be clear to even complete moon men why gartsides think tank asked for a discussion on no relegation from the second tier and spreading the money more evenly through those top two divisions

fair, killing football, whatever, it made perfect sense for bwfc

as would staying up an extra couple of years, when we could if we wanted, have decided to cut our cloth to take the money

and nobody moaning now about mismanagement and overspending would have complained at all

no, not one bit

I agree

We're only moaning in hindsight  -  if we were still in the top division, I'm sure we wouldn't be giving a monkeys about going further and further into debt....and if we were still there, we would be doing so. Having said that, I'm sure it would be easier for ED to offload the club if we were in the top division

I suppose the interesting thing is what happens if we do run out of money.....if we can't pay the players and/or operate properly - what happens then? - if we go into administration, then ED gets nothing anyway. I guess we'll find out one way or the other in the next 12/24 months

eddie, im sorry if youve already covered this and i've missed it, but has eddie davis actually taken any cash out

be it interest payments or the player success fee?

or is it all paper money

We could always start selling bits off, like car parks & players & ....... Oh, hold on!

Maybe we could get a director loan or..... Oh, hold on!

What year's a good year for a fire sale?

In other words, you're sat hoping for a major drama, but haven't got the first idea what it might be?

I'm still in the minority of people who just happen to think that getting relegated is really bad for the books, but the people in control of those books are working on a long term strategy to even the keel.

I'm avoiding the temptation to have a frontal lobotomy and start coming to the batshit mentallist conclusion that Eddie Davies is creaming off his own cash with his own cash by investing his own cash into a venture that creates cash from cash.

But hey, how many football clubs do I run eh?

My funny bone is utterly un-fucking-tickled.

To be fair the club is people paying a lot of money to manage the club properly, not really down to the supporters to keep on the money.

its not

but each year we stayed up, the debt increased

each year, the bills increased

each year we didn't give a fcuk

in hindsight, we should have just taken the money in the last season and made no effort to stay up

some would argue coyle took that view :)

This ere loan; is it to fund Gartside's wages for this season?

It worries me that we had no "plan b" un place for relegation.

Players still on massive wages despite a massive drop in revenue.

Unless we get takenover in the next 12 months, we are gonna be in the shit.
