Land is worth fuck all if you can't do anything with it, it's just a field in Horwich

Posted (edited)

Without planning permission land is pretty worthless.

You wot mate?

Thanks to Mr pickles planning permission is now more achievable than ever. Believe me it's my job.

As for the Lostock academy just ask Dave whelan what he did with Orrell academy.

Agreed this is bollocks talk, but all land is valuable even radiated, nuclear bog.

Is it £180 million valuable, as that's the arena we are talking?

Better ask Jed Clampet.

However I doubt it would need to be that figure. Considerably less. We've just discussed that Eddie won't be getting anywhere near that back.

A man in the pub told me,.... We can buy land, build a brand new stadium in Bolton, tear down the current stadium & still have change left over from the sale of the land at Middlebrook

& as we all know, What the man in the pub says....

Let's start a crowd funding campaign. Once we have the £30million, we can have board meetings not unlike the ITK Transfer thread.

Only problem will be finding someone to take on the role of Gartside for £20 a week. One thing is for sure, we'll not be short of accountants and treasurers. After crossing the board for the last few days, it seems like we've got a lot of people who can run this club, make a profit and get us promoted to the Premier League with just a quick tweak of a spreadsheet.

Sounds like what the then Board told us in the 90s about moving to Lostock.

You've not been paying attention have you Carlos, the land and hotel are worth an estimated £500M

But is that a Burnden type valuation ? Think of a number & multiply by about 10 ?

TBF most BN articles draw even more cretinous comments.

It's not just the BN, comment sections across the net seem to attract the brain dead.

the ones who manage to bring any story round to how it's the fault of the muslamics always strike me as particularly unhinged.

Plus the constant whinges & moaning. We're becoming 'Liverpool Lite' .

Hearing rumours that Eddie Davies has now wiped all debts as he continues his search for a buyer.

Twitter, Facebook, man in a pub or 'I kmow someone at the club'?
