If his previous concussions are anything to go by he'll be back next week.

Not sure why you think that.

Previous time between games :

Concussion 1 : Occured Sept 30 - next played Oct 24 (missed 2 games)

Concussion 2 : Occured Dec 25 (Merry Christmas) - Next played Aug 11. (missed last 2 games, plus postseason game)

They stuck him back in in the same game so he missed no games TBF. Then got a bollocking and the NFLPA changed their rules as a result

The independent doctor said he had no concussion, so he went back in. He was then sacked. Tua said he didnt have concussion. The Team doctor said he had no concussion. The Independant Doctor said he had no concussion. Frank Spencer says he did.

Officially he had no concussion in that game (ironically also against the bills).

Against the Packers, concussion was diagnosed after the game, again the independent doctor cleared him during the game (by performing the same checks that were brought in after the first incident). He then missed 8 months.

Its a little disingenuous to claim that a team, any team, would knowingly send a concussed player back in, especially in the current climate of CTE lawsuits.

FWIW, I think thats Tua done. He has a young family, and them having a coherent father is probably what matters most.

Patriots are the current Man U won everything for ages have been average for a few years.

Cowboys are spurs lots of big talk but haven't won anything since time immemorial

Redskins are the Leeds of the current day

Successful and nasty with quite a few superstars back in the day but utterly tripe these days

Another season of woe beckons

… or maybe not. This Jayden Daniels looks the business.

It’s perked my interest which has been on the wane for quite a while.

TBH I’ve not seen anything of any games so far. Not had time to watch any live games and not found a decent highlights package

you're best off on the NFL youtube channel

they usually condense each game into a 10 minute video

Does anybody watch College Football? That Georgia @ Alabama game was ridiculous!!

Aye mate. As much as I can find. Seeing less this year for various reasons.

That ridiculous game you refer to arguably between the best two college teams around.

I was taken to a Wisconsin Badgers game in the 90's by virtue of working for a Milwaukee based company for 12 years or so. I am sure a day at Penn State, Texas A&M or others would be phenomenal. That day at Camp Randall certainly was as I have been 3 more times since on one occasion taking the missus and daughter. They were blown away and neither are fans of sport really. 70,000 sell out every game and the whole day is entertainment plus from 9am til 9pm. They certainly know how to party and, if you are into the gridiron game, the football itself is often far more exhilarating that the NFL. Joie de vivre. The term which comes to mind.

We're looking to go over next year to get a CFB game in (I like Michigan) and the wife wants to go to Seattle to watch Seahawks

I'm absolutely in awe of the size of the attendances and the sheer scale of the College game out there. It's like nothing else in the world. I don't think there's a comparative sporting structure anywhere else like it. 110,000 at the big house every game. Even shit teams can pull in 85,000 on a regular basis and it's 24/7 coverage 365 days per year. It just never stops, even in off season. Quite incredible really. I absolutely love it. Prefer it to the NFL, because of the atmosphere and the number of points they can knock up in a game

Yes and I understand why. A point I arrived at some years ago. Part of it with me (and I suppose explains the thing I have for the Packers) is that there is none of this moving around the country to different locations bollocks because some city or other offers you a better financial deal. Can never happen with the Green Bay situation thanks to the way the shares are owned by tens of thousands of local people.

College teams are never moving. More representative of the local community and identity etc. rather than slaves to Mammon. I wonder if fans in Oakland still follow the Raiders?

Much as I follow the Badgers fortunes, I would love to attend a game at Texas A&M, Penn State or the big house. The atmosphere is phenomenal.
