September 29, 201510 yr Done a few trips to Dublin & watched the Darts Grand Prix there a couple of times, this place was the cheapest of all the lot for drinks, a good old fashioned boozer with a few characters, always a warm welcome though. free irish stew on offer every lunchtime as well. definately worth it for a few cheap ones http://publin.ie/2012/joxer-dalys/ http://www.theporterhouse.ie/# this was good at Temple bar, pricier though but good ales
October 6, 201510 yr Author top place is dublin, already planning a 2nd visit very friendly place, never once saw an ounce of trouble fair ale prices, all the pubs were bang on, loved the irish folk band stuff highly recommended if you havent been before
October 6, 201510 yr I agree with the grumpy old men. I've been a few times, not a fan of the place at all so can't see me going again unless I have to.
October 6, 201510 yr I used to think the same, but went this summer and had a great time. Will defo be going back.
October 6, 201510 yr Got a contract through earlier for a job offer Three week training course based around City West on the outskirts of Dublin Spent a few years managing a sales team in Ireland a couple of years ago. Fuck Dublin, it's horrible. Rathcoole, Enfield, and all those areas out of the city are ace. Bring it on
October 6, 201510 yr On the way to the guiness museum stopped in some back street boozer where a kid came to pick up his toothless simpleton drunk dad, on a horse Ace

October 6, 201510 yr I went in 95 with my young son at the time just a few weeks after the abandoned game, not really a nice welcome in the city centre pubs with my lad sporting a Bolton shirt.
October 7, 201510 yr Best thing to do in Dublin? Get the train to Belfast The train is only the second best thing. The bus takes less time and runs 24 hours.
