Just had a meeting on Churchgate. Sad to see the Bolton News offices empty. And in a week or two the Travel Counsellors building opposite will be empty. Another 200+ people spending approx £20 per week on parking and lunches in the town... plus whatever other services they spend their hard-earned on - all being lost. Very sad state of affairs.

 

When will it get better? Should these empty offices be turned into apartments?

Don't know it. Closest I've ever lived to Bolton is Horwich when I was a toddler. What's so bad about Gibraltar Street, and why does it bother you if you don't live there?

Not at all, as long as they were decent lads. I actually do have a teenage daughter, and she has plenty of 'Asian Muslim' friends, both male and female. Making sure your kids don't fall in with the wrong crowd - whatever colour they are - is called "good parenting". Has your daughter gone off the rails or something?
