It really is. If move down there if I could afford to. We used to go to the 'meet the Marines' day as kids and do the assault course. We loved it.

 

My auntie once broke down in a car right outside the base when it was the height of the troubles. Apparently it didn't go down too well :-)

 

My other auntt once told me she squatted next to a bush for a pee up and on Woodbury Common and said she suddenly noticed a pair of eyes staring back at her - one of the Marines on exercises or something :-)
