then you chuck in previous comments made such as calling most mexicans criminals and rapists, to have a shutdown on muslims entering the US, saying immigrants from haiti all have aids and that nigerians who come to the US would never go back to their huts in afica

That is a pretty telling list.  As TM says, there's probably elements of both but yeah, he clearly has a proven track record for it; especially in business it seems.
